  • Pray that my shopping trip goes well

My trip to shop for a new church of course! The church I currently attend has its good points- there are a multitude of church events all week long so I can serve the Lord each day however the people who attend are very....mixed. Although many know that the Bible is perfect and needs to be taken fundamentally, many others are a little more liberal in their view of God's holy word.

I'd rather not associate with these people anymore so I'm off to find a new church. Unfortunatly, I live in a liberal area and decent Baptist churches are tough to come by so I have a difficult search ahead of me.

I am going to pray for you sister, and that you find a good baptist church! I am so happy that I don't have to do that... but maybe you should move from your area if you can't find one?

Well, by all means avoid Seattle First Baptist. Reverend Phillips was a fine Christian man many years ago and I know him well. I warned him against relocating to that commie cesspool of filth in Washington, but he would not listen, thinking he could save the foul scum that spend their days hating God and bad mouthing their country. A fallen man now leading his flock straight into the methane and sulfur fires of Hell.

We reach out to our community to lobby for equal rights for GLBTQ persons, prepare dinners for homeless shelters, support the Duwamish who work for rightful tribal recognition, send mission groups to Burma and Tijuana, collect socks and school supplies for the homeless, present Seattle Jazz Vespers on first Sunday nights to showcase local bands, and offer a labyrinth walk on the second Sunday nights of each month.
Nothing but fag enabling and wasting tithes to Jesus on foolishness and sin.

Oh, yes! I ruled them out a few Sundays ago. They just seemed WAY too liberal and sin-tolerant for me. I'm all for gays joining church but just so long as they are gays looking to change their God-less ways, not be accepted as is.
