Let's ask Virginia State Delegate Bob Marshall WWJD?

The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children,” said Marshall, a Republican.
“In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest.”

Oh? Where? Was there some Scripture misquoted or misinterpreted? Please point it out, rather than just a blanket "you're wrong", ok?

    Matthew 7:12
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

    Galatians 5:21-22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

    Colossians 3:12
Put on, then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness and patience.

Honestly...not really seeing a lot of compassion and kindness in this forum.
    Oh I love Matthew 7

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Be different all you want, just don't expect to find that strait gate. Why do you want to distract people from the danger their souls are in?

I love my brothers and sisters in Christ each and everyone.

Please see this most important sermon about Christianity and love.

Bible Answers: Who are our neighbors? Who are our brothers and sisters? Who are we to love?

And what does Paul say about evil people later in the same book?

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove,[them].

    Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
I would want someone to tell me if I'm doing wrong. Plus, we are preaching as the Bible tells us to.

    2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Paul is not making a suggestion here.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

While we at LBC do our fair share of rebuking, I want you to look at the word "reprove" I left bold for you twice. In the Greek, the word is used thusly:

    a) generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted
    b) by conviction to bring to the light, to expose
    2) to find fault with, correct
    a) by word
    1) to reprehend severely, chide, admonish, reprove
    2) to call to account, show one his fault, demand an explanation
    b) by deed
    1) to chasten, to punish

Jude 1:22-23 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

    Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
We are nothing but the model of the fruits of the spirit in our dealing with each other.

    Again, Paul tells us.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].

He then goes on to tell us more.

12 For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,“Awake, O sleeper,
    and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

    Colossians 3:12
    Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Please see the very next verse to understand that Paul only means that between believers.

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Now, I have to ask, though...why did you say that you were "compassionately" reminding me that my choice of Bible was terrible? The definition of "compassion" is "sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it". I wasn't distressed by my choice of Bible. You were.
I will be praying that you have found enlightenment on what compassion is, using God's Word.

    Yours in Christ's Blessed Name,
    Levi Jones

I experience no distress at all. I am secure in my Salvation. You, on the other hand, are in a very dangerous position. If you don't believe in the LORD, you cannot hope to be spared from eternal damnation. You cannot truly know who the LORD is, or what exactly to believe, if you have an inferior Bible. You may not feel distress now, but it is my compassion that inspires me to share with you the dire necessity to procure a proper Holy Bible. Why, you can just walk into your local Baptist church and ask for one and they will gladly give it to you! Just make sure it is the King James Version.
