The problem I have with the pamplet isn't for women who might get raped, but due to women who have already been raped. The way I've heard people after being raped is that it's very tramitic for them, and it's difficult for them to get through. Most don't come foward with what happened, and are huanted by it for a long time, while those who do come foward only a few don't get badgered by parents, court procedings or others, because they say the rape victum isn't a victum at all. Passing out a pamplet saying it's your fault just is harsh to those already been raped, I think.
    I think we are in clear agreement then. If you had read Brother Jeb's link, you would realize these are being handed out to scantily dressed women.

    As 1 Timothy 2:9, points out:
    In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

    Well, that's better. Of course we don't endorse the idea that rape is ever okay.

Not in any bad way, (though I don't see how a prayer can ever be a bad thing), but in a prayer for you. To have God's love and blessings be on you, and to be with you and teach you. Such is what I hope God does for me, my friends, and my family. If it sounds like perscuation I am sorry. If it actually was/is perscutation, thewn I hope you do recieve treasures in heaven for it. May you be filled with God peace and Love.
    Well golly, that's a nice sentiment, but don't think we aren't going to call you out when you're wrong.

    As Hebrews 12:6-8 says

    For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
    If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
    But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

    Do you understand now, my little bastard seeking the path to True Christianity™?

    Well if that's the message, then please understand there are betterways of saying that. No matter what, rape is a cruel and horrible thing, and no one deserves it based on any reason. Saying "it's your fault you were raped," is so awful. There's no reason to say such things or thing in that way.

    Let us correct your statement friend "why do women claiming to wear Christian approved clothing sometimes get raped".

    The answer is easy. Those women aren't TRUE Christians(tm) and therefor deserve the abuse they got.

    I hope this helps friend.

    Christian approved clothing is just a helpful tool to avoid rape, if the girl is a harlot she is still a harlot. You can put a pig in a dress and call it Aunt Suzie, but it's still just a pig.

    Because they were still out of the kitchen and not under the guidance of their father or husband.

    The Bible is very clear on this. Are you suggesting we don't follow the word of God when he has specifically directed us? We are part of the True Christian™ community, and we take what the Bible says seriously. If you think you can pick an choose which parts of the Bible you wish to follow then you are not really a Christian. You need to think long and hard about where you want to spend your afterlife.

    Of course he's punished! Didn't you read Brother Godfly's post?

    Deuteronomy 22:28-29 (King James Version)
    28If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
    29Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days
    See? He's stuck with her FOREVER! Now that's a punishment that never ends.

    You're just bitter because you can't get a man drunk enough to rape you.
