You should get the game. There is nothing evil about it at all. You are a warrior and you kill bad guys, and dragons that are trying to destroy mankind. There are no demons in the game, despite what all these people think. And it's just a game.

First of all, I happen to know you can play as any kind of character you want, including wizards, murderers, and thieves. Don't try to make it sound so noble.

And besides, what good is a warrior who kills "bad guys" who isn't a Christian killing the enemies of GOD? Enemies like sorcerers, harlots, homosexuals and blasphemers, all whom the game is chock full of.

It is a fun game, having played many hours of it myself I can speak from experience when I say that there is nothing inherently evil about this game (this of course my opinion but based on experience rather than speculation)

My friend has played many hours of this game and he wants me to get the game aswell? but it dosent seem like i should? Demons and satan worshipers play this game.

I'll give you a hint, as this is a Christian forum, it might have something to do with the bible. However, it's no misconception, it's a fact.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Hmm I was not aware of that particular verse, thank yo for correcting me

I may make this mistake again however as I am sadly unable to remember every verse at will due to not being blessed with an eidetic memory.

Do you have anything to add on my other two points whilst we're at it?

Hi there folks! I'm new here and I made an account pretty much entirely to post on this particular thread...

Now after reading through all these pages there are a few things I feel the need to attempt to clear up for you:

!) This game is classified as FICTION. It never once says or implies anywhere in this game EVER that anything to do with it is real or to be taken seriously in any way shape or form.

2) The main problem people seem to have with this FICTIONAL work is that there are elements of bad things like Necromancy, Summoning Demons etc... Which I agree with. Yes folks I agree with you, that stuff is bad but something you would of realised had you actually played the game or done any research into this whatsoever is that the game classifies these things as bad too! In game, the people who practice such things are considered criminals and the "bad guys"

3) Dragons = Satan... I honestly don't know where this misconception came from but I can tell you right now that it's not true. Both in real life and in game because:
A) The game makes no reference to Satan whatsoever and the Dragons have their own back story as to their origins (once again FICTION)
Dragons AREN'T REAL.

Now I've played this game extensively and as far as I know I'm still a good person, I haven't felt compelled to commit evil deeds or deviate even a little from being the good person that I continue to be, at the end of the day it is a source of fictional entertainment, nothing more, nothing less.

If you have any questions or comments I will try my best to stick around and clear up any confusion people have over this game as it's a shame to me that people are so misinformed about something that is in my own personal opinion very fun and entertaining to do.
