Why would we want to do a thing like that? Your post looks perfectly fine to me.

Glory! That is a clear message from the Lord!

When he smote Ronnie devil Dio-a blasphemousname, indeed, a clarion call was sent out to True-Christians(tm) all over the world that the incarnate stanchild, Dio, had fallen, and that heavy metal is to be shunned!

Heavy metal is the devil's music.

    5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

    And heavy metal is worldy=satanic.

Thank you for your opinion. Now can you tell us (using KJV Scripture of course) why we should give a toss what you think?

LaxativeBro, it is impossible to make your statement without some true evidence. A bible verse would be a nice way to do it! In the meantime, I pray for your soul, you seem like a smart kid, hopefully after investing some time here your life will change.

    God bless

Oh, I did not know that. Can you please provide me a link to the study. I am very interested.

I just knew you were completely evil!

Sadly, Brother Hutchins, I feel you are wasting your time trying to get through to an addict. In the same way as people are addicted to heroin in your analogy so people are addicted to metal music. The way they all dress and wear their hair in "shocking" ways to dishonour their parents and nod their heads vigorously in so-called head banging is all a sign of addictive, junkie behaviour.

All of them wilfully break the commandment "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." Exodus 20:12 Then people like him expect us to take some dogma they hid within their devil music as some sort of alternative scripture like a sheep in wolf's clothing. And that makes it OK.

I suppose if we sat there worshipping idols and then tried to hide it behind saying The Lord's Prayer that would make the idol worshipping OK?

He's not going to go to church until he kicks the habit. God's rehab is going to be more than he can bear.

"We've all been broken, So let us make each other new. All these distractions, kept me from seeing what I needed all along, an understanding." We Came As Romans.

and before you say these bands are satanic, do a little research on them, and realise that satanic come satanic bands are :Cradle of Filth, The Acacia Strain, Suicide Silence, Whitechapel ect. so instead of being ignorant, do research.
Friend, you seem like a smart young fellow, probably well liked by those that know you. In my 54 years, I have discovered that many people will tell you they have Jesus in thier heart but in fact are trying to trick you. If you ever bought a used car, you know what I am talking about. I have nothing to gan by talking to you, perhaps the satisfaction a True Christian(tm) may earn from Saving a Soul(c).

    Answer this one question precisely.
Why do you think God does not allow 'metal' to be played in a Christian Church?

'Metal' is nice the way Heroin is nice. It may be fun, but it is not good for you and will ruin your life.
Do these fellows really look wholesome to you?

    How about thses fine boys:
