Family is important. unless they did terrible things to you that were not deserved, you should beg their forgiveness for you having avoided them all these years.
You are not 'playing a role' you are living a lielife. Be yourself, be a True Christian
You need to ask them why they hate you. It could be anything from you being the result of a rape to simply a drunken accident. But it is important to get the truth. Most likely, due to shame they will deny everything, that is human nature. But keep on them relentlessly until they break down and share with you and God the whole sordid truth. You all will be much happier for it.

Yesterday, after prayers, I went to my sisters home, and was very polite, I asked her why she doesn't want me around ?. Why she ignores me and tries to look like the perfect daughter?. Her answer has really upset me. All of my family think i'm a loon, ( her words ). When I asked why?. She replied with a cruel tone in her voice, that all the God stuff that I've always spoken of makes them all think I'm as mad as a March hare.!! She also says that while I'm spouting nonsense, my Father is getting more and more ill, and she says that I should be more concerned over dad.How much more can I do?. I am not coddling my Father anymore,I love him, but I am not pitying him.
So the only thing I've done wrong is to believe in Jesus, and to love Our Lord. This has hurt me deeply. But my love of God will not be changed by anyone. So if they don't like my way then I will stay away from them.After all at least I have Jesus in my heart.He is all I need.

Well thats what some folk here think i am.An empty headed female.I'm old enough to take care of myself,and i'm not seeing my family so much right now.I've gotten very confused as to what role i should play.It's a real problem for me.As for favourites,i have 3 sisters and i have always been like the little black sheep,always coming last in affections.But it's cool.I have my quiet time talking to Jesus.

I know which path i'm walking.I'm honest,caring,and true to myself and to God too.I am living my life the best way i know how.I don't live in a community that is like yours,but that does not make me any less worth than you.

There's your problem right there, lady. The best way you know how to live may not be the way into heaven. The direct and Only path to heaven lies in the King James Bible, interpreted word for word. And that, my friend, is the best way to live.

And forgive my comment about you having killed your dad, I must of been mistaken and was thinking of someone else with a similar name. I take it your parents will not feed you like their favorite child?
