Several of us who have sources inside the Administration have heard this. We have not said anything until now because it reflects badly on the Trump Administration. Now, the New York Times and other big outlets are publishing articles about the large number of homers that have high level jobs under Trump. How can this be? The entire Department of Education and the Centers for Disease Control have been sacked but homers remain employed? This has to stop.
Trump has a flair for the dramatic so that might be the explanation. He may well be hiring homers so that he can have a big press event handing they all pick slips.
