I do not believe in spanking. Never did.

I do as God tells in in the Holy Bible, I use the Rod because I love my children.
Proverbs 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Though I'll have to admit, from time to time, there have been difficult ones that simply do not pay attention. A good shaking (never hitting) gets the demons to let loose of the poor child's soul and after 15 minutes or so of vigorous effort, I find the child to become quiet and respectful.

Then there are to 'problem cases' and God of course, provided us with the simple solution to that.
