    Superman: Heroic icon of American masculinity...

      I lean towards the latter too. The character 'Superman' was created in the 1930s by the Joos Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who wanted a messiah figure for Jooish boys to idolise:

I mean really it makes me laugh and it makes me sad that they're people as iggnorant as you. i just saw someone who had a picture of a klu klux klan member next to jesus. jesus shows forgivness and love... the kkk stands for hate and well hate. further more, Who do you people think you are to say who deserves salvation you ignorrant, racist, sexist, sad pathetic immatations of what REAL christians are and stand for.               Now that is just adorable! I sure hope that when I produce some servants of God myself, they will be just like lil' Klucker Bill.

              As for this Superman fiasco, just take a minute to examine the limp-wristedness, rainbow powers (a well-known homer symbol) and homer-sexual pornographer (in the bottom right with the camera) all visible on this "Super"man comic:



              Need we say more?

                  You seem to misunderstand us, we absolutely agree that Jesus is all about forgiveness and love. In Matthew 12:31, Jesus very explicitly tells us that all manner of sin, except denying the Christian religion, can be forgiven:

                  All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

                  In Matthew 10:34, Jesus tells us how he is to accomplish his forgiveness and love, saying, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Well, Glory to God, we at Landover think of ourselves as Jesus's sharp sword of love and forgiveness.
