Re: my finger went through the toilet paper, am I gay?
As long as you did not enjoy it, you should be in the clear. Just follow all the other things the good people have said.

Matthew 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell
That will sure teach him a lesson.

I just got back from Jesus Camp. My finger didn't fall off, but it was useful as a topic starter. Then I broke my ankle. I must have done something to anger God. I have been praying over it.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . We know that one day soon Satan will be incinerated.
Revelation 20:7-10 And when the thousand yeeres are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall goe out to deceiue the nations which are in the foure quarters of the earth, Gog & Magog, to gather them together to battell: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went vp on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the campe of the Saints about, and the beloued citie: and fire came downe from God out of heauen, and deuoured them. And the deuil that deceiued them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night, for euer and euer.

I hope there is a team of trained disciplinarians that are beating the gay right out of his rectum.

Now let's have a proper introduction in the appropriate forum. Tell us about yourself, which church you attend and why you love Jesus Christ more than life itself.
In Christ

When I first accepted that I did not feel the presence of god in my life, I was some what relieved (Satan at work), as I have said many times on this website before, I only really followed religion because I was terrified of going to hell
There's still time for you to repent and turn away from false doctrines and get back to a healthy fear of the eternal damnation that awaits you if you don't.

You approve of homosexuality when the Bible says otherwise.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
You say you care for your friends and family? Do you preach the Good Word to them as God commands? I bet you talk about rights for homers and the newest game for the Atari 380.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Rights? What about the right of True Christians? You atheists are the most selfish people ever. You do despicable acts of debauchery, spit in the face of Baby Jesus and try and take OUR rights away. The Good News for us, you're all damned.
Psalm 52:5-7: God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of [thy] dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: Lo, [this is] the man [that] made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, [and] strengthened himself in his wickedness.
I really do believe that I am not selfish, as letting all people have their rights is a good thing normally, and to be honest, I don’t really care what the bible says (waits for the hundreds of infractions) as it was written two thousand years ago, and since I am atheist and do not believe in your god, I think the laws of the bible do not count to someone like me…
And yes, I care a lot about my friends and family; since the family members that I speak to are also atheist it does not come up much (my mother however, does believe in god, not to the extent that you guys and girls do, but she does believe in him). So since we care about each other we discuss the things that we like and dislike, I do not talk about rights for gay people with them, as it is something that I believe…

It is in the nature of worship to think so. Concerning Zeus, we have poetry which shows how Zeus was regarded:Cleanthes

There is no such thing as conscious trees, there is no such thing as Zeus - but that doesn't stop people celebrating their own false ideas.

Perhaps you don't worship a monkey, but to immerse yourself in some eternal sea of DNA and chromosomes and simian intercopulation is to worship monkeys whether you know it or not. God tells us that you are wrong:
ROMANS 1
24 Wherefore God also gaue them vp to vncleannesse, through the lusts of their owne hearts, to dishonour their owne bodies betweene themselues:
25 Who changed the trueth of God into a lye, and worshipped and serued the creature more then the Creatour, who is blessed for euer. Amen.
You do not even acknowledge that He exists. What else is there for you to worship?
In you turns, to worship something is to pray to it, to do its bidding, to live by its word… in essence like how Christians worship god, with the way that you say I worship a monkey whether I realize it or not, I find that wrong, as I do not pray to a monkey in the sky, I do not do a monkeys bidding and I do not live by a monkey laws (I had a joke about the British government and their laws but I seemed to have misplaced it). I simply go about my day, I go to work, I go to university, I meet up with friends, I fall in love etc.
When I first accepted that I did not feel the presence of god in my life, I was some what relieved, as I have said many times on this website before, I only really followed religion because I was terrified of going to hell, around the age of 12 onwards (once I left my Christian school) I allowed my mind to grow, and through reading books, hearing about other religions, and studying science I realized I was atheist (for a while, I considered myself to be agnostic).
So evolution, for me anyway, seems like the most logical explanation to how we came to be, how we evolved from living in the sea to being the humans we are today.
Now you bring up Zeus and it is a subject I find really interesting, as in modern times, it is accepted that Zeus and the other gods were made up thousands of years ago by the Greeks, some say to explain the presence of your god, and others might say just to make themselves comfortable with the world, give everything meaning (e.g. an earthquake “Oh, the gods are mad at us”).
Now for me this is the same thing, I think man to explain everything created, god, and the idea has expanded over the years to what it is today.
