You are correct that pink is the color of homosexuals. Maybe they think you are a homosexual or maybe they do not think you are a homosexual but they want to insult you anyway. Or it could mean something else altogether.

Miss Felicity is a lovely Christian lady with strong morals, evident in her numerous awards and status as a True Christian (someone who cannot sin and is openly recognized for her obedience to Christ). That involves, obeying her father and then her husband. (Ephesians 6:1 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right." and Ephesians 5:22 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.") If her father, and the pastors, all upstanding members, are ok with her judgement of you, who are you to complain and question her purity and goodness?

I never wear mixed fabric because Jesus never said we could ignore that law. He did however say we could ignore the dietary laws (Mark 7:18-19), so I sometimes do eat shrimp or something.
