    Greetings

Hello, I am Lewi Jacobs from South Carolina.

I have been very reluctant in using the internet, for reasons I think you all can relate to. But after sifting through the trash and finding this site, I am joyful in finding so many brethren sharing the only true belief and good moral values.

    My favourite verse is:
Ephesians 2:8: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

I am very much looking forward to becoming a part of your community.

    Dear Mr. Jacobs,

You seem to be a sincere man in your quest for Christ's bosom and Salvation. The verse you've chosen is very nice, but, please, look at how magnificent it is in its perfect form, as expressed in the King James Bible, the True Bible™:

    Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

It is verily a gift from Jesus that you found this Forum. Now you know to use the accurate Bible.

How's life otherwise on this sin-infested disk of ours? Are you married? If you are, how are you coping with the distasteful but necessary (Genesis 1:28) act of begetting? Personally, I'd appreciate any kind of peer support, although we're expecting menopause and the eventual cessation of conjugal duties any day now!

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

      Re: Greetings

      Dear Mr. White,

Thank you so much for your warm welcome! I must agree with you, the perfect form certainly reads even more gracious!

The truth is my late wife passed away roughly one year ago, it has been very lonely ever since. Especially considering my residence. I live in a house rather far outside urban civilization, and seldom meet other people. The only true christians I have had any contact with since moving here are my parents. Any "christian" who themselve pick which of God's rules to follow, I no longer want to associate with.

However I know my wife is in the warm embrace of God now, and I no longer feel sorrow for her, knowing she's in paradise.

We were actually in the process of conceiving a child, so I do have some experience in this matter. While I agree with you that the process is rather distasteful, it is afterall God's will that we father children. Therefore, by not seeing it as a judgemental act, but the opposite, I never found it very problematic.

I will pray for you and your wife tonight, may god bless you and your future children.

        Dear Friend,

I do hope for the sake of your wife's Soul that you had already produced some offspring, as the actual act of parturition is a prerequisite for a woman's Salvation:

        1 Timothy 2:15
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

However, if this was not yet attained, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. If you take care of your own Salvation (which can be realized with our help and by careful study of the many educational threads we have on this Godly Forum), you won't mind your wife's Fate once in Heaven (Revelation 21:4). In fact, we can even watch and communicate with (Luke 16:23) those who writhe in Hellfire (Revelation 20:15). Jesus is Merciful. Your pains for losing your woman will be healed!

        Yours in Christ,

        Elmer
