You know what I thinK? Anyone who wants to become an Ex-Canadian is going somewhere in my opinion. Good luck to you and your family and your future Ex-Canadian status. Make sure to take some Maple Leaf flags with you to grind in the dirt once you get your legal status. It'll make you feel so good.

Why did you pick this particular verse? If that is indeed a picture of you now in your avatar, you're not ugly or fat. Are you a midget or something?

It's a song from Pillar, a Christian band that used to frequent YC.

    Welcome to the LBC forums.

I hope you find the kind of welcome here that the wonderful Christians of Landover extended to me.

Their hearts and hospitality are truly as huge , embracing , and as humbling as the Lord would seek from his faithful.

It cheers me that you sound to be a Canadian of earnest
and hopeful heart , striving to find and celebrate the Lord in a true christian way , unlike those split-tongued , fake frenchy, papist controllled , cathoholic subversives that have always whinged and plotted about having some little piece of mary worshipping hell in what could be a land wide open for God and his true followers.
Indeed, it is so good to have met as many pope-free Cannadians in just
    a couple of days.

I noticed you said you were ex-goth...There again, I hope that is a genuine turning away from evil, rather than one of these fake subversives who come in here preaching one thing then slidingg into evil and infiltrating nastiness soon as they feel their feet to be under the table.

In regard to your bunnies , and eating of such... Holding them in appropriate affection is well and good...
    But, remember Abraham...
God calls on follks as God sees fit...
If he was to decided any creatuure needed to be stew, our job is too start chopping the onions , and get to it.

    Hebrews 11:17
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Tests of faith can come in many guises and forms.

    That said,
again, welcome to this wonderful home for The Lord's Word ,and the faithful who speak it...

Well, thanks for clearing everything up for me.

I guess that's one reason why Canada is evil(most parts)..forcing French on you since early public school. I just kind of jumped on the bandwagon in that respect.

Indeed, we only need good old fashioned English. That's the language the good King James Bible was written in!

Very true, Sister Noddy. God created different languages so that people could not understand each other as part of His divine plan. I don't think learning other languages (except learning English, of course!!) is really encouraged.

    Re: Hello from Kate

Welcome! We are pleased to have you here and warmly welcome you to Christianity from your Goth ways, which would have ended rather badly. It is good that you are among true believers because I know it can be a little lonely at the beginning when you find Christ. Your Goth friends could be a bad influence on you and you really need to leave them aside. Remember 2 Corinthians 6:14-17. “ Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”

I like your Bible verses, but be sure you aren't like some women I have met that use this verse as an excuse to be heavy set or to have short hair. Remember that you inner, spiritual self is important to God, but your outer appearance still counts for something. God doesn't like sloppy people. 1 Corinthians 11.

Anyway, I didn't intent to lecture! Truly I didn't and I know I didn't say anything you didn't already know! We are really pleased to have you here and please, post questions, share your thoughts. Glory to God!

Welcome to the forum, honey bunny. Why have you got a rabbit as your avatar? Poop on that. The rest of us have pictures of ourselves. I'm the son-in-law. I'm an English teacher. We're Baptists, we don't speak Canadian.

Tip of the headmaster's hat, Mr Godwin

Ooooh does that mean you speak in tongues like a pennycostal? My son-in-law says they are doing the work of the DEVIL!

He's the headmaster of a Baptist elementary school and he teaches GOD'S ENGLISH only, not French or Runemanian or something! (Jesus won't be happy about this)

Joshua 1:9 - This is my command -be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
