Myron did not take this quote out of context. You did.
Rev. Jim, once again you show that the LBC ministers are the most erudite authorities on God and His Word.

Dear Baptists for the Win, I am merely a student of the Bible compared to the LBC pastors but I could beat you on scripture with one brain tied behind my back and I'm just a pup. If you can't hang with the big dogs get out of the yard.

The LBC Pastors are the Biblical experts that Biblical experts come to. If you want to engage is some sort of scriptural debate with these guys expect to get spanked.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. How about heading over to the introduction forum and telling us about yourself. What church do you go to? What are your favorite Bible verses? That sort of information would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Yours in Christ

Listen "Reverend", I don't know what Church you preach at but it surely ain't a Godly True Christian(tm) church. Why are you not quoting from the 1611 KJV? What kind of Hippie bible are you quoting? Better not be that "Message" trash.

Well, Glyde, it's actually very simple...
    1. Read the 1611 KJV Bible everyday.
    2. Listen and do what the KJV says. ALL OF IT. Even if it makes you feel a little weird or unsure, put your faith in God that He knows what is best.
    3. Be honest in your intent to become a True Christian(tm)
    4. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior
    5. Witness to others by showing them the errors of their ways with Scripture
We are True Christians(tm) because we follow the Bible 100%. Are you willing to do so as well? The alternative is an eternity in a lake of fire, you know.

Thanks Pastor Zeke. I think "Baptist" was trying to defend me in some way, but it was starting to annoy even me.

How can I become a True Christian?
Welcome, Glyde! I'm so glad you've decided to stop hating God, and love Him instead, so He won't have to torture you in Hell for ever and ever!

True Christians(tm) read and follow the entire Holy KJV Bible. You see, it's God's Inerrant Word. That means it has no errors; how can it, as it's God's Word, and God is perfect?

Do you have a copy of the Bible? It's available online at www.bible.com or www.biblegateway.com if you don't, though having a hard copy at home . . . oh, dear, I'm sorry, I mean a copy made of paper, I didn't mean to stir up any unpleasant thoughts about hard things . . .

Having a paper copy at home will be very useful for both reading large portions at a time, and rebuking. A hardcover edition can also be used to beat sinners about the head in an attempt to drive Satan from them!

Would you like our Pastors to change your name to something a little less greasy-sounding? How about Clyde? That's a nice name!

Now I have a question for you...

Why do you think it's acceptable for you to flit around various threads and derail them? This thread is "Glyde69's" introductory thread.
