You certainly appear to be accusatory but, it does not affect me because I am a True Christian and I know it cannot be directed at me. Now do you see, if you heart and mind is pure, those words mean nothing, only the words of God shall steer my life. Do you see the point I have been making? Do not focus on the words but rather focus on the message.

Why do you believe that I am not devoted to God? I am not understanding what it is about your faith that leads you to believe that I am not saved, that I am not a true follower of Christ, that I am not living in the presence of God right now as I type?

Am I going to hell? Why are you so different than me? This still has not been explained.
I have no idea if you are devoted or not. You have made around ten posts so far. If you had made 200, and I knew you, you had accepted a Pastor to provide spiritual guidance, perhaps got involved in the Church, then I would know your true intentions as would the Pastors. But at the moment, you are still a stranger to me and I have been burnt by many strangers on the Internet so I am leery. I am sure you understand.

"I am saddened by your approach to spreading the gospel. The people listening to you have hatred and anger in their hearts because of your words. I believe that God is guiding us every day to treat others with love and compassion. Yes, the way is hard and most are afraid to follow, but we can share that with them in a meaningful way that will help them see the truth."

I am under the impression that your ministry is built around the first option. Does that make me "soft" or "false"? Do you believe in a merciful God? One who loves His children so much that He sent His Son to die for us, so that we could be closer to Him? What if God's love IS the conquering sword in the face of the adversary. His message of hope and truth is not soft, it is bold and unconventional. What if God's idea of being "straight" and "forward" and "bold" is different than yours?
I would prefer you to quote scripture in context. God's ideas are clearly laid out in the Bible. Do you think God wrote the entire Bible just so you can pick and choose the parts you like? Why would God put anything in the Bible that He does not intend for you to believe?

The Bible is tough love. There are only two choices, Heaven, or Hell. The Bible is VERY clear on what will send you to Hell. It's also quite clear that you MUST accept Jesus to be Saved. Keep in mind, Jesus did NOT do away with the Old Testament. The only things He specifically did away with were the requirements for animal sacrifice. (He made the ultimate sacrifice), the Old Testament dietary rules, the day of worship, and the observance of Hebrew Holy days.

I have been baptized. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe the bible is the inspired Word of God.

Am I going to hell because I am not a member of LBC and I don't use hate-speech? Is that what all of this is about?

I do not know you yet, though you seem to have a chip on your shoulder and be pretty argumentative. I am a True Christian™, I have proven my devotion to God here, you have not yet. Instead of accusing me, you should be thankful to be here and seek guidance instead of being accusatory and spiteful. You might want to think about it.

A full explanation of this was given in the Pastors Rules and Announcements. But, we get trolls. Once a poster has shown to not be a troll, the label is removed. But also consider, anyone not Saved is going to Hell. Does that not make the Hellbound, "trash"?

Indeed, it is for that purpose. Virtually everything we teach can be backed up in Scripture.

If you have not been Bathed in the Blood of the Lamb, you are unsaved trash. It is impossible to be Saved if you do not believe the Bible in it's entirety.

I guess the majority of my concern rests in the fact that your approach to spreading the gospel is one of negativity through rebuking the unbelievers, where mine is to love them and show them the truth through Christ's teachings; sharing God with them through the life I live.

    Why am I wrong?
Cause you be tryin to be Godly the wrong way, thats why.

This is a perfect example of misuse of scripture. You didn't quote the entire thought.

Why not Luke 6:37 though 42

37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
39And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

    Or Matthew 7 verses 1 though 5:

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

What is clear in both passages is to not judge in hypocrisy. It doesn't say simply to not judge. Judgment is perfectly acceptable, even needed, when not done in hypocrisy.

It's evident that you may be a soft or false Christian. You only want to preach the soft warm cuddly parts of the Bible so that people feel good. Well there's not much in the Bible that is soft and cuddly. Even the cuddly parts aren't so soft when taken in full context.

    Yours in Christ
    Brother Lazarus

I agree, sometimes you have to yell a little. There are times when I wish it were possible to shout to the world Jesus's name, there are billions who have never even heard it.
