    I enjoy nearly any woman's pie but agree that cherry or peach are best.

    I also enjoy these ripe fruits in their fresh state as well. Whole, intact cherries and fresh peaches with just a light fuzz on the surface before they are halved. Praise Jesus for his gifts.

    I have quite a vast recipe collection so a simple pudding such at that, I can whip up in no time. My late husband was quite partial to a good sticky date from time to time.
