What makes you think your opinion about God matters? The Jews hated Hitler, but that's not what made him evil, it was his Catholic upbringing that damned him to Hell.

You see boy, God set His rules down in the KJV 1611 Bible and it's your job to follow them, not to like them. You think I like wearing wool underwear with a wool suit? Of course not! It itches something FIERCE! But I follow the WHOLE Bible! Glory!

Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
    Leviticus 19:19

Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.
    Deuteronomy 22:11

Actually, it's Ms. Salt. I'm a girl. And I've been going by the nickname "Salt" for years, but that nickname was too short to be used as a user name, so since I got the nickname from putting salt in my oatmeal, I decided SaltCereal sounded okay.

As for what I believe, I don't know if I would say that there's a conscious being that created the universe but more of a non-conscious energy out there in the universe, beyond what humans can really comprehend. And as far as an afterlife, I believe that any loving deity would judge our eternal fate with something more substantial than whether or not we worship him. I mean, think about it: If Hitler repented in the last seconds of his life, he's saved while millions of good people who had a moment of weakness and doubt before they died are burning in hell. And that's justice? That's fair? That's compassion? I think not!

I'm glad to see that you actually read the Bible, Mr Cereal (are you a skirt-wearing Scot? They put salt on their porridge, I believe, along with eating sheeps' stomachs).

Which "Bible" did you read? I bet it was one of those fluffy bunny Bibles. No wonder you turned away from God after reading that Satanic rubbish! If you'd read His true word you'd undoubtedly be a True Christian(tm) by now and be joining us in praising and worshiping Him.

It's not too late. A wonderful way to read it is Brother V's Bible in a Year. Try it - I'm absolutely certain that you'll be amazed at how misled you were!

So what do you believe? Do you just make something up? Or do you think the "something" that is out there just doesn't care about you, didn't give you any instructions on how to live and you can do whatever you want because there will not be any final reckoning?

Perhaps you should read the Bible again and be even more critical this time, you'll see that everything God does and commands is for the best. Why else would He have led you to this place?

Well I do agree with you that it is sad so many false Christians don't read their Bible. They seem to think that Jesus was some sort of hippie dude that preached love and peace.

Actually, I just copied that from the top of the introduction forum; thought it was a good place to start. So then, what do you believe?

    Doing an intro

I thought I would do this a little different. Since you chew people out for posting without an intro, I figured I have to post one. That being the case, I don't know what you want to know about me so ask away and I'll answer to the best of my ability.
