1. I came here to learn about your beliefs with all my sincerity.

4. There's something interesting to learn from all holy books and major world religions.
5. My own belief system is quite complex to describe. While I would be generally considered a "Hindu", I strongly disagree with the use of that term as it's a historical misnomer. I believe in Vedanta philosophy and consider the Bhagwad Gita the same as you would the Bible.
6. My spiritual beliefs are "evolving" as life shapes my destiny. It's human nature not to remain static.
7. I share a personal rapport with atheists because of their rational outlook towards life although wouldn't agree with a Godless existence.
7. I believe in the supernatural;ghosts, spirits and demons. And, also reincarnation of the soul.
8. I practise Tantra, yajnas and other mystical rituals common to Hinduism.

Why bother addressing your self Hinjoo, Muslim, Atheist or whatever evil blasphemeous title you come up with?.. You heathen aren't special! and the Lord Jesus doesn't give a crap what kind of a Satan worshipping homer you are, you're doomned in the eyes of the almighty!! ... Well I can't exactly say since god is not real.

Since you're an atheist, why are you on a Christian church's discussion forum?

Jesus may have very well been real however I doubt he was of the well bred considering he was a carpenter and he was not the son of god born of a virgin birth.

The word used to describe Joseph was "tekton". It means master builder or architect. An educated class.

In Bethlehem, they stayed in a barn because "there was no room at the inn". Poor people would have expected to sleep in tents, not pay for a room at an inn.

Maybe you should read this book. It asserts that Jesus was born to a solidly middle/upper middle class family.

Now, I agree that it's far less miraculous to think that a well-off man's son would be able to read and debate the Scriptures effectively at the age of 12 (when a poor man's son wouldn't normally be able to read at all), it certainly paints a different picture than the myth of "birth into poverty" so popular.

I have no intention of providing any such information. Why on earth, while fighting a war against radical religious groups, would I give my information to a domestic radical extremist group?! Secondly if ANY member of my chain of command pushed an agenda like this site then, yes, I would call them mentally unfit for duty, as would the military. If the same misogynistic, racist BS were Spread in the military today, they would promptly show you the door.

I see you're not in the military.

Even the very liberal Air Force is constantly being called to task for evangelizing, for sponsoring on-base Christian events, etc. If your military experience extended beyond World of Warcrap, you'd know this.

I have to say first off that I am not a part of this church nor would I ever want to be. secondly I have always been fascinated by the Indian culture and religion. I grew up with several friends that were Indian and both they and their parents were fine people. As a matter of fact I don't think I have ever met an impolite indian. My friends and their familys were Brahman as well and they were very kind hearted, charitable people. I wish you good luck in finding what you are looking for from this group. I think you are going to need it!
