The burden of proof is on you to prove that it happened in the first place. I'm not assuming that it didn't happen, you have to prove that it did.

On the contrary, KJV1611 has, as part of its preface these awesome words:

AN ANSWER TO THE IMPUTATIONS OF OUR ADVERSARIES

Now to the latter we answer; that we do not deny, nay we affirm and avow, that the very meanest translation of the Bible in English, set forth by men of our profession, (for we have seen none of theirs of the whole Bible as yet) containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God.

You are an adversary adn you are making imputations - so that bit is aimed squarely at you!

No, that's not my reasoning at all. I'm saying that just because it is written in a book doesn't make it the truth. It may or may not be the truth. The bible was written by men who CLAIM that they are inspired by God to write these books. Then MEN chose which books would be included into collection.

Men are imperfect and flawed, do you really expect the bible that was written by men and put together by men to be perfect?

Look at your statement again;

"I'm saying that just because it is written in a book doesn't make it the truth."

Therefore a book the says God does not exist is not being truthful.

The Bible is not just one book. It is many books put together to form the Bible, written over a long period time. Are all these books wrong then, even though they are centuries apart.

The Holy Bible was dictated by God. Do you really imagine that He would allow His Holy Word to be disseminated incorrectly?

No, that's god talking to INDIVIDUALS. Anyone can claim that God talked to them personally, but when has God ever talked to an entire group of people at the same time? It is easy for someone to claim that they talk to God and it's very hard to prove either way. That is something that happened between that person and God. So you either believe the person or you don't. There is zero evidence that God actually did talk to any of those people on that list.

Well Jeremy, it is obvious to me you have never spent any honest tie in Church. I have been there countless times when He has spoken to the entire congregation.

Have you not read the verses I just showed you? "And the Lord spake to Moses FACE TO FACE, as a man speaketh to his friend." (EXO 33:11)
"For I have seen God FACE TO FACE, and my life is preserved." (GEN 32:30) You cannot see God. "No man hath seen God at any time." (JOH 1:18)

Your first quote saws Moses spoke to God face to face. Does it say Moses SAW God's face? No. Just a few lines later, in fact, it clearly says Moses did not see God's face.

Did Jacob see God's face? No. If you read the story, you find that God had temporarily assumed a human form.

None of those are proof. They are assumptions. Why can't you understand the difference?

But Moses didn't see God's face. Nobody can. The closest you can get without dying is seeing his back parts. Amen!

Not it doesn't because you are starting with assumptions. You first have to establish that a god even exists in the first place and then from there prove that he communicated to man, and that the bible is this communication.
