Joesph, glad to have you aboard. Myself, I was a trucker for years before I met Jesus in a lonely truck stop one night. A very buff young man with a King James Bible, came up to me and began to witness about Jesus. He told me something that really changed my life for the better. He explained that when a man is on his knees, he is the closest to heaven. Well, I listened to his advice and here I am now traveling around the country with my Bible, hitting all the rest areas and bath houses, spreading the Gospel with all that will listen and some that won't.

I know the Mens Prayer Circles at Landover (when I visit) are awe-inspiring in their length and depth, and I always leave thoroughly drained, yet fulfilled.

I am still working to get that enthusiasm from my own congregation.

Ah yes the energy from the first ones I participated in at my church was quite overwhelming at first! Yet afterward I felt literally drenched in God's great word, shared with me by the other members of the circle, it truely is a pleasure each Sunday

Well, I like your quoting of Ephesians 2. It's a nice reminder that everyone who died before Jesus came is burning in hell, except a handful of Jews who kept the law.

I also found that strange, but the church is far better than my other local churches, many "Gospel" churches near me, I find them very offensive to Christianity

Baptists rarely use the word St. in front of names.
