OK Jack,

You obviously don't believe in progress or new ideas. The Bible was written in a time when people were ignorant.
We've moved on. It's called progress. Look at us now, communicating over the internet.
If mankind did not allow any invention or new knowledge as it went against the Bible, we'd still be riding round on horses and dying at the age of 30.
Progess is a great thing. You can't live in the past. You need to look forward.

Sorry Zecharia but from my educated view point I tend to agree with some of the things Adam has said. Especially of these forums condoing hate!

I will do as you say and do more reading.
However, I don't believe that what I am reading from your site is the way that God would want to be portrayed.
The members on here talk down to women, are against people who are not white and seem quite aggresive in their views.
Why are the members dismissive of women for instance?
Is this a fear of women? To that extent, is that why they have such hatred for gays and jews? what is there to fear by other people living their lives in a way that is not suited to you? How does that affect you? Surely the Christian thing to do would be to accept people and to allow them to live their lives. God created them, did he not?

Do you think God would be proud of the way that the members treat others?
What about love and understanding? What about equality?

You really do not understand God's word do you? If we dismiss women it is because the Bible tells us that they are inferior. The Bible actually puts a monetary value on women and it's lower. Also God told Moses to kill gays.

These are weak humanist values, nothing to do with Christianity. As Jesus said,

If you want to love everyone then be a hippy humanist. If you don't want to scream in agony for eternity then you must accept Jesus. It's your choice.

Surely homosexuals have a choice in who they sleep with (although not a choice over their sexuality, God made them that way). I cant imagine those sheep had much of a say in the matter!

If what I have found here is a true representation of God's word, he sounds like a thoroughly unpleasant creature and one that would only be followed by those who live their lives filled with hatred and fear.
That isn't how I want to live my life.
I believe in peace and love and knowledge.
Religion historicaly was used by Kings to supress the poor and offer them some hope in their dismal lives to prevent them rising up against their masters.
King James would have lived a life of luxury, raping the land for his own needs whilst the poor suffered under his rule.
Of course he would be a proponent of the Bible.

Adam, we strive to be 100% Biblically accurate. We live just how God intended. There are Churches that do not follow the Bible, they skip parts, they change the words, the 'interpert' it. Could you imagine if people did that with the secuar laws.

I am a Christian. I turned to Chritianity against the will of my family.
My biggest learning of all is that we arent all so different.
After all, Jesus is mentioned in the Qur'an.

Some of the views on here are no different to the extremist teachings found in some corners of Islam.

I embrace all as my brother.

I think if God feels the Bible does not portray Him accurately, I would think he would of changed it. Certainly would take no effort compared to creating the Heavens and the Earth in six days.
Again, you are faulting us for being Christians. We simply follow His rules. If you lived in a town where putting out a fie was illegal to do so (unless you were a trained fireman) is it wrong to follow the law?
Based on your ramblings, you really need to sit down and have a talk with God. If you think you know better than Him, then get Him to change things. Until then, we are following His True Word(r).

You keep talking about a subject where you have no idea what you are saying, you are grossly misinformed. Read the Bible.

It is a lovely idea but if I can explain.

I stumbled across your website and was interested to read the views expressed on it.
I was expecting to read that Christianity meant love for everyone no matter what colour, openess to ideas and a sense of calm and peace that faith should provide.
To find that a large chunk of the posts are racist, ignorant and inflammatory was quite upsetting for me.
It wasn't what I would have expected from Christians, so to say that I was posting anything hateful is quite absurd.
This website seems to condone hateful views.

Well Adam, I suppose if you only look at part of a story, I know a complete misunderstanding can occur.
You see a dead man lying on a table. You ignore everything else. What happened, why is like that?
See, there can be a million guesses here and 999,999 of them would be wrong. So it is not fair to be judgmental when you do not know the facts. In addition to that, being you are not a Christian, you have no right to judge us. Leviticus said it best:

Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Corinthians too, seems apropos at the moment:

1st Corinthians 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

So you may better understand, Read the KJV1611 Bible. All we do is follow His Beautiful Word(r).
