Re: Is being fat a sin?

After another discussion with my husband, he has decided that 130 lbs is okay but no more than that so I better not go gaining anymore weight or I'll be meeting the business side of his belt. Praise the Lord! He did stipulate that I must regain some tightness in my abdominal region so I thank the good sister for setting me on the path to such. I tried to be more active while I was pregnant with Joachim. I stopped scrubbing the floors by hand after delivery but I am going to start doing that again. Thank you all for your input and I hope you have a very blessed evening, if the good Lord sees fit, that is.

I didn't intend to do either of those things. I apologize.

I added a tag to your thread so that you could read some other entries by people who were concerned about their expanding size.

Why do these people ask such silly questions? What did their fathers do in their homes?

Apart from God not speaking to you because you are unsaved trash, you are her superior and if you like her plump then she should be plump and vice versa.

What poor lives some people lead to not have taken this in with their mother's milk...

As a follower of Christ, a True Christian™ woman would recognize that God speaks to the head of the house (Ephesians 5:23). Her contribution would be worse than living the life of a hermit (Proverbs 21:19).
So, and please do correct me if I'm wrong (as further enlightenment to becoming a True Christian is why I'm here), my example would be perfectly fine as my gender places me as the head of the house, and yet in your case, or the reverse, it is wrong?

With this ambiguity involved, and thus a chance of participating in sinful activity, I am simply advocating something I think she should think about as a follower of Christ.

I have no unnecessary fat on my body, of course, because I am a True Christian woman of faith, richly blessed by my Heavenly Father (Psalm 37:4). But there are some truly faithful exercises you can do to stop offending your husband without fear of offending the LORD:
