    Re: Psalms

    Dear Logo73

You have it all wrong. Akhenaten was born in c1300 BC (18th Dynastical Pharaonic chronology), the Psalms were written down by David from ten ancient psalmists between (and including) Adam and Moses.

Moses was born in 1619 BC (Usshers Chronology), Adam much earlier.

It is clear from this that, in fact, Akhenaten stole his poem to Aten from Moses and the Israelites.

So in answer to your original question, yes I like your signature.

Thou appearest beautifully on the horizon of heaven,
Thou living Aton, the beginning of life!

Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all
the beasts of the forest do creep forth. The young lions
roar after their prey and seek their meat from God.

    Wow, they're completely different. Amazing!

Do you take the owner's manual for your car literally? When the manual specifies what type of motor oil to use, do you take it literally, or do you think that each motorist is free to "interpret" that part for himself and decide to use motor oil, linseed oil, or olive oil, on the theory that a just and merciful car company will honor the warranty no matter what? Now apply the same reasoning to the Holy King James Bible, the owner's manual for your soul.

That is a reasonable request if it was God making it.

Who are you? As far as I can tell, just some fluffy bunny feel gooder who is destined for an eternity of torture in Hell who is trying to drag decent, caring and honest people with them. Not very nice.
Show me where God say to not take the Bible literally and that it is ok to skip parts.

So I looked up this so-called "sun hymn to Aton (sic)" and found a picture of this:

Do you honestly think that you could translate that to Psalms 104? Seriously?

So where then are we to get information about God and Jesus?

We love our Bible's psalms. Can you not read? Look, I know you're looking for controversy and an argument on this amazing issue you think you've discovered that nobody has ever brought forwards or by now we'd all have converted to atheism but you're not being very original; you're being very very boring.
