Welcome to the forums! So you are Swiss? And a pastafarian? Tell me is it true that the pastafarians smoke everyday and worship Bob Marley? Also Swiss, most countries I can understand, but Switzerland always seem so neutral, you never know where they stand or what they are thinking!


Anyway, I heard somewhere that Pastafarians are secretly pirates that want to "touch everyone with their noodley appendage" which we can gather is a euphemism for gay sex. Why do you reject Jesus and want to have gay sex with everyone?

Also since you are in Switzerland, can you please see if they have Swiss Miss Coco?

I am American, but I am living in Switzerland for the next year. There are no strict requirements for being a Pastafarian, so there is no need to smoke or worship Bob Marley. I personally do neither.

We are not pirates although we have scientific proof that global warming is due to the number of pirates decreasing. Perhaps there are some extremist Pastafarians who take it upon themselves to become pirates to try to end global warming.

I also was hoping for that Swiss Miss Coco but, when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the popular Coco brands here are much better than Swiss Miss.

"We" are here for one purpose, and that is to worship Jesus Christ, our God and Savoir.

No True Christian™ has one bit of interest in your "gospel" or the 9 things the pasta monster doesn't want you to do. If that is not a mockery of Christianity, you are either delusional or secretly sitting there laughing in your chair!!

This isn't a joke, we do not find being mocked funny. We take the King James version of the Bible as the infallible Word OF GOD!!! And we follow it TO THE LETTER!!

SO missy, you may want to rethink why you have been met with so much opposition here. We have feelings too you know. Just because you decided it might be fun for you and friends to come here and mock us....it doesn't make it right. Honestly, when you guys do this, it hurts me to my core.

I have avoided debate at all costs. I have merely explained my beliefs. I think it is great that you have a forum to celebrate Jesus and your Christianity. I did not understand that celebrating Jesus and Christianity meant condemning all others with different beliefs.

I thought this was a forum where religious beliefs and issues could be discussed. May I suggest questions to discuss going forward in this thread? I will give my own responses to start and welcome all other responses.

How does your faith better you as a human being?
My faith has made me question my relationships with others. I used to be arrogant and thought I was better than others. Now I realize that we are all insignificant compared to our creator and I strive to exhibit humility at all times. This manifests itself in many ways but most of all in my willingness to help others and to seek help myself. I often help my colleagues at work with their responsibilities even when it sometimes keeps me from completing my responsibilities to the fullest. Furthermore, I am now more comfortable asking other for help. We all need help at times in our life and I used to be too arrogant to be able to ask others for help.

What is your biggest fear and how has your faith helped you overcome it?
My biggest fear is not being able to support those who rely on me. I have a wonderful wife and we have our first child on the way. I used to fear that I wouldn't be able to give my wife and child the life that they deserve, but now I have faith that we were created by someone or something much more intelligent than any human. I believe there is a plan for all of us and no matter what happens to me my loved ones, and all other loving humans in the world, will be kept safe as they follow their own plans.

It is late here in Switzerland and I have to go to sleep. It has been enlightening talking to all of you and it has made me think long and hard about my own beliefs. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day.
