I am a man, who has not yet married.Originally posted by Faith_Machine View PostFriend, I've read through your introduction several times here, and you're going to have to help me out, because I feel no closer to knowing where you go to church, how many children your husband has sired upon you, or what your favorite Bible verse is.
Please see my above post for my favorite verse.
I have yet to find a church which is in English and is not Catholic within Beijing. However whilst I lived in the U.S. I attended the Lake Tahoe Prespretarian Ministry.

Hi Catheryn, welcome to God's friendliest website!
What Bible verse really sets you on fire for The Lord? My top three are in my sig. I would encourage every newbie to put their fave verse in their sig: it's a real ice breaker, you know?
Yours in Christ.

Greetings from afar
Greetings to all of you,
I am a young man who for reasons of economics and seeking challenge decided to travel in my youth to see what impact I could make on the world. I live and work in Beijing, China as a consultant. I came here several years ago to learn Mandarin Chinese, since it is said that it is the most difficult language to master, I in my pride decided to give it a try. I am still here, several years later. Mastery of any worthwhile subject takes mountains of time.
However, for me it is rewarding to see American Capitalism find root even here.
I am no saint, nor however am I seeking to harm anyone. I am simply trying to go about my life in the proper manner, adhering to the precepts and principals which made our ancestors so wise.
I stumbled upon your site some time ago, it took me some time to understand your purpose.
I am interested in an exchange of ideas, especially as they relate to biblical principals and history. I am not particularly interested in a bunch of threats of hell and poorly thought out rational for why my choice to live in China is a reason to be sent there.
Jesus has long been a hero of mine, and while I would classify myself as a Deist, there are no Churches which suit my taste here, nothing in English, unless you count the Catholics
.
Jesus taught peace, something which I want to carry forth and expound through the conduit of deed.
Thank you for reading. Hopefully it was not tl;dr
