Re: Hello
Hi Andrea,
Nice to meet with another true christian on here. Please be warned whatever you write on here, it will be "pulled to pieces" by those who claim to be so called Christians. I shall await this post being changed from what I have said. I have been accused of alsorts of things on here, so be warned. I live in England and attend a Evangelical church.
Hope you have a blessed and happy Christmas, and just be careful on here.

Hello and welcome, Andrea.Originally posted by MasQueVencedor View PostGood morning,
My name is Andrea and I attend Iglesia Pentecostal La Luz del Mundo, which translates to Pentecostal Church Light of the World. My favorite Scripture is Romans 8:37.
I came to accept Christ as my Savior and Lord at the age of 8.
Nice to meet you all!
Is your church named after Julio Iglesias? If you are American, why is the name of your church given in some Latinesque form of gibberish? Was the sign maker painting in tongues?
When I was a child, one of my aunts took me to a Pentecostal service without telling me (or my parents) this was where we were going. She said she wanted me to see the Holy Spirit at work, and claimed the Godly Independent Baptist Church my family attended was boring because we remained seated during the service and listened in silence to our Pastor.
Well, let me tell you, I saw a spirit at work but it was far from holy. People were writhing around on the floor, others were wailing like they had suffered a stroke, and I found the whole ordeal to be highly traumatic. I curse her to this day for exposing me to that Satanic orgy of chaos.
You have truly been blessed that Jesus would bring you here so that you can cast aside Satan and get right with Him.Romans 13:4 (1611 King James Bible)
For hee is the minister of God to thee for good: but if thou do that which is euill, be afraid: for he beareth not the sword in vaine: for he is the minister of God, a reuenger to execute wrath vpon him that doeth euill.

Tell me, how have to convinced God to allow you to survive these winter months? Do you depend on hand outs and the occasional sheet rocking job?

I think one of the worst things about Pentecostals is that they allow women to "speak in tongues" and "prophesy" during the service when God says women must be silent in church.
1 Cor 14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Most Pentecostals also defy the rules of church order set out in 1 Corinthians 14. For example, in your church, if someone speaks in tongues and no one interprets, is that man ordered to keep silent in future?
1 Cor 14:27-28 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
And does your church allow more than three people to speak in tongues or prophesy during the service (1 Cor 14:27a, 29)? Do the people speaking in tongues or prophesying take turns (1 Cor 14:27, 31)? I don't know any Pentecostal churches that follow God's Word in this. Usually they are a mass of gibberish and confusion -- and God is not the Author of confusion.
1 Cor 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
If people are going to talk gibberish and make wild predictions about the future, they must do so in an orderly fashion. I hope we can persuade you that IFB (independent fundamentalist Baptist) is the way to go.
Anyway, tell us a bit more about yourself. How many sons have you born?

It's great that you want to put all that snake handling behind you. The serpent is as the Devil and Pentacostalz openly cavort with Satan during the Snake Mass.
How many children have you born your husband?
