It is no kindness to hang a man slowly, nor is it kind to let someone burn in hell so that we don't hurt his/her feelings.

I believe in God but I admit I did not read the Bible or pray during those years I wasn't in church, so I was not being a true christian so why claim to be a christian?

And in most churches you wouldn't be a TRUE CHRISTIAN

But before those years of absence and not praying, you surely went to church, and I might expect that, at moments, JESUS called your little mind to HIM

Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

As you have forgotten much tell us about what you remember when you were in church with JESUS.
