    Here's your answer:

    SATAN

We don't cherry-pick here, dear. We follow the entire Bible. It's all the other churches, who choose a few "nicely" sounding verses and ignore 90% of the Bible. Now, try to think logically for a minute: which one of these two statements is more rational:

Statement 1. "The Bible is the Word of God and it is to be followed 100%."

Statement 2. "The Bible is the Word of God, but there are some parts of it that I don't like, so I'll just ignore them, and I'll follow only the ones I like."

We at this Church follow the Statement 1. Most of other churches follow the Statement 2, although they don't even have a general agreement on which verses they should reject/ignore (for example, some churches allow women to be pastors, others don't; some allow homosexuality, others don't).

The problem is that you see "unfair" in a modern, secular light, whereas to a True Christian™, anything and everything God does is fair and good, no matter how much you and I may recoil in horror at some manifestations of His lovingkindness.

You have to admit that if you were a creator deity responsible for the existence and operation of an entire universe, your priorities would be slightly different to those of a sophomore high school student.

The Bible even explains that humans are incapable of understanding why God does some things:

Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Can you be more specific, or give an example of such happening?

Well, if it is true that you know the Bible better than most christians, then perhaps you can help me with something.....

I am uncertain of where in the Bible it says to criticize those who are born with birth defects, such as missing limbs.

Yes, I am an atheist. As I know the Bible better than most Christians, our hosts allow me to do many things here, but telling people anything that's not True(tm) (according to the King James Bible) is not one of them.

I don't think I'm all that arrogant, tho.

Just ignore him. We ban him, but he is either some kind of hacker or in league with the devil because he keeps coming back. At least he is familiar with the Bible, so there may be hope for him yet.

It's an opinion, obviously, as no one can condemn save God, but it's based on what the Bible says, and around here, that's "fact".

Pleeease tell me you'd at least noticed that.

Please link to a post where someone either said they hated you, or displayed clear evidence of hatred.

We'll get to the bottom of this.
