Re: First Monthly
Why would you need comfort during a mense? That's absurd! You must use such a time to pray and seek the Lord for guidance. Mr. Farmer, that design is absolutely perfect for your wife. It has the bare necessities and as a woman she and all the rest of us females deserve just barely that. I hope she is forever grateful when you build the structure.

Thank you Sister Mary. Mr Etheldreda treats you well - as you deserve. Or don't. Women are punished for Eve's sins every month, lest they forget what vile sinners they are. As such, they deserve no more than the bare essentials, if that. If they spend their unclean time in luxury they forget about their innately sinful nature. It seems to me that women are being more and more impacted by feminazis - believing that they should have a say in how they spend their time. A man owes no more to his wife at this time, than a cage, and yet I see these women apparently competing to have the most luxurious menstra hut. Such vanity!

Re: First Monthly
Mr. Etheldreda does not spoil me so. We both know that in pain shall I bring forth children, and I shall turn to my husband and he shall rule over me (Genesis 3:16), all because of Divine Justice. God’s sentence hangs still over all our sex and His punishment weighs down upon us. We are the devil’s gateway; we are the vile creature who first violated the forbidden tree and broke the law of God.
My very body betrays the First Sin that brought Death to the world (1 Timothy 2:14), and with it, all the suffering, all the tragedy, all the bad things ever. The curse God pronounced on our sex weighs still on the world. Guilty, we must bear its hardships. It was our fair sex that softened up with our cajoling the very thing the devil could not do by force - compel man to sin. We broke the image of God, the man Adam. It was child's play to a woman, a creature created to serve man but whose very nature betrayed her true intent - absolute power. We deserve death, and it was the son of God who had to die!
I can only hope that in childbearing I can be redeemed from my culpability in this most sorrowful of sorrows (1 Timothy 2:15)! I can only praise Jesus for sacrificing Himself and suffering a long weekend for the redemption of man, and even if I am never included in the Heavenly Reward, yet will I still Praise My God!
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even. And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean. And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

I'm sorry. I don't understand the reference to the plastic part then.

I'm so sorry; I was not clear. I meant, once she is clean she can care for the children. Not while she is unclean...but can you really trust a messicant? I plan on hiring a Christian white young, unmarried but old enough to be married young lady to care for my child. Practice for her, and safe, moral help for me.Originally posted by Jim Farmer View PostShe can't care for the children at that time of the month! She must be in total isolation. Re: First Monthly
Mr. Farmer, that looks rather simple, but definitely sufficient. May I suggest that the outer area have a plastic part to help keep her in decent health so that she may take optimal care of your child? As a woman, I'm used to the mere basics, but I do care deeply about the children and childraising, as a woman should 1 Timothy 2:15

Re: First Monthly
Joanna, I like that hut
A menstra hut should be a humble affair. God doesn't want to know about unclean women. And what do you do in there? You read the Bible and pray. One doesn't need a multi-roomed grand affair for that. All you need is a bed, a table, a chair and a King James Bible. You have no guests, so there is no need for anything more.
Leviticus 15:19-30
19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. 20 And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. 21 And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. 22 And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. 23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even. 24 And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean. 25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. 26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. 27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. 28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 30 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
This thread is a good one on menstra huts.
The reason for my interest in them at the moment, is that I need to get one for my wife when she delivers my son. Last time (with the girl spawn), she was sent back to her parents' home and stayed in her mother's menstra hut.

Re: First Monthly

This is currently my personal hut for menses. It has wheels so it can be moved about the backyard when and or if necessary. I enjoy mine being simpler and there is a lock on the door so the children do not disturb me when I am unclean. My sister whom lives not far from me sends her eldest daughter to care for my home while I am unable. My niece, Bethel, is engaged and my sister and I both believe caring for my younger children and serving my husband while I am unable is good practice for her for when she marries.

Re: First Monthly
Dearest Ladies,
I think it's important that we glorify God with our hut, and the pictures I've seen thus far are simply amazing. I will have someone take a photo of my own. It is only 12,000 square feet and is located over the ridge behind my home. I have a small scooter that helps transport me there when necessary.
Should "that time" come when I am on the road, I have a menstramotorhome that I pull behind the Escalade.
Just remember: our Lord expects strict compliance with His Word. Do not allow pride in your hut to enter your hearts.
Yours in Our Savior,
NRL

Thank you for the compliment.Originally posted by BaptistBethany View PostDear Elizabeth, It is beautiful! Why, it almost makes being unclean a pleasure!
I just want to make sure everyone knows it is not a pleasure...I miss serving my husband, worry about what disaster the Negress is doing, and I am ashamed that I am a woman during that time because I am unclean. Leviticus 15:19 "And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even."
Edit: Just to clear up any confusion. I am with child. My husband though, wanted me to first spend a few days once we got home in my menstra hut to ensure that I would not make his home unclean, and then we made the offering of two turtles to the Lord, like my father and I did when I was unclean during an actual menses, just to ensure the Lord was happy and would bless this pregnancy. "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:" Psalm 103:2
