Okay...the word "submit" when translated from the Hebrew and Jewish texts does not mean to be insubordinate. It actually means support. And the verse before that even says that we are to submit TO EACH OTHER. Which basically means love, respect, help, etc one another equally. It has nothing to do with slavery. And the Bibles demands that husbands love their wives and to put her life before his own. It's all about love. So women..stand strong like God wants you to. Being a slave, servant, or baby making machine is the opposite of what God wants for your life.

Really, how is it that women are saved again?

Thankfully the word submit in the New Testament is Greek and not Hebrew.

Ladies, what is wrong with men, are they all little boys?

Sisters when your man comes home from work, does he start undressing at the front door? Why is that? They have clothes spread form the front door through the house all the way to the bath room. Do they know what a clothes hamper is for?

When they finish showering does it look like a bomb went off in the bath room? Every towel is wet, water all over the floor , dirty smelly socks and underwear left of the floor. The sink is covered with hair * and tooth paste. Is it just to darn hard to rinse it out?

After the 45 minute shower, they put on old sweat pants, plop down in front of the TV and demand dinner. Why even try to set a nice table? They then eat until they are stuffed and then complain that they ate too much, like its our fault somehow. How many times have you tried your best to look nice for him during dinner? How many times has he said whats the occasion, are you going out whoring latter? Why even try?

* what is with all the hair, I swear they are part ape. The older they get the more it falls out. Except for their ears and nose,its grows faster, gross.

What do you expect? Men work all day. They make the money that provides the food AND the house. Women, on the other hand, stay at home. If you're not used to cleaning the house and cooking, then what exactly do you do all day?

You women that complain have no idea how lucky you are God still tolerates you. He could very easily wipe you off the face of the Earth. You think you are needed to make babies. God could make a plant that dropped human eggs. A silent plant that does not bother anyone. We could have one of the Hamites incubate the child.

My first two wives used to complain all the time. Made my blood boil. After a hard day on the trading floor, squeezing pennies from each dollar on multi million share trades, the last thing I wanted was to hear was female BS.

Really? Would it be okay with you if the men sat there and said this about women? Or is that "different"? Here's a hint, if you want to date a real man, then DATE A REAL MAN! This is why fathers should be involved in the picking of a husband. Women go after looks or shiny bobbles and don't look at the substance of a man. If my father had got involved in finding me a husband I wouldn't have to waited until I was 30 to find a True Christian(TM) man that understood the Biblical marital roles.

I am so tired of this socially acceptable man bashing. Really, take everything you've said and make it about women, you'd want to phone up all of your lesbian friends and start a rally to have the man who wrote it castrated. But because you're demeaning men, it's okay.

Well guess what my lesbian friend. Men deserve to be treated as men. He's out working all day and comes home tired, maybe instead of bitching at him as soon as he walks through the door, you should be there to greet him with a kiss, take his jacket (so it doesn't land on the floor) and hand him his newspaper or slippers.

As for him flopping into comfortable sweats, well it's his castle. Let him relax, no wonder he eats out on the couch. Discussions like this very thread are the reason all the women's groups at MY congregation have a male chaperone at every single meeting.

Allowing women to talk without the influence of Godly men leads to gossiping and complaining. The women become dissatisfied with their station in life, and turn to feminism, witchcraft, killing babies, lesbianism, and voting Demoncrat!

The Bible is very clear about a woman's place in the world, and that place certainly isn't going around, demanding ridiculous things like "equal rights". We're supposed to submit ourselves to our husbands, and because men are the head of women, we're also supposed to submit ourselves to them in every thing.

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing." Ephesians 5:22-24
