So sinful. It's a celebration of the body which perishes.

    2 Corinthians 4:16, 17
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

    For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

And of course they sung the Anthem of the Atheist, Imagine, by John Lennon. Saw lots of flags that were NOT American being waved about, but no Bibles. So sad. . . And they didn't invite President Trump to speak or carry the torch.

I expect The Lord to visit His wrath upon this city.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

Satan takes this opportunity to mock. Does he know how to do anything else? Unlikely! Together with a swarm of devils witnessing his performance, the urgent infusing of sin begins. “Hurrahs” for the yoga event, where idolatry becomes cool and many are enticed. “Gasps” as Big Sodomy pole-vaults over another hurdle, on 85% horse steroids. And whatever this is:

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

God's witnesses are not devils and His race is not a subterfuge to generate unwholesome appetites via rippling muscles or facial gurning. Nature's endowments, in their fallen state as celebrated during the summer Olympics, are here for us to overcome – unlikely in Paris at the best of times. Jesus explained it like this:
    .
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Every year is Olympic year in HELL.

Adam and Eve realized being naked was a sin. They covered themselves with fig leaves. The Olympic athletes don't seem to understand their naked bodies offend God. They spread sin all over the world. God would be pleased with some fig leaves.

Agatha (my sister) and I were at the cottage for a few days, so we missed anything to do with the Olympics — not that we would entertain the thoughts of watching such a sin-filled festival, being the , -fearing ladies that we are.

But, once I returned home and got settled in and fired up the old IBM 386, I found some very alarming news regarding the Olympics opening show. Apparently, some of those homersexualists thought it would be funny to mock the Last Supper of our and , . I could not look at more than a second of the blasphemy, as it made me feel deeply disgusted and outraged.

And, now one of the organizers of that sinful atrocity is suing because of complaints that have been posted about the frightful frolic!

French police investigating abuse targeting Olympic opening ceremony DJ over ‘Last Supper’ scene

PARIS (AP) — A storm of outrage about the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony — including angry comments from Donald Trump — took a legal turn Tuesday, with French prosecutors ordering police to investigate complaints from a DJ and LGBTQ+ icon who performed.

DJ Barbara Butch said she suffered a torrent of online threats and abuse in the wake of a contentious scene at the Games’ opening ceremony. A lawyer for Butch told The Associated Press that she had filed a formal legal complaint alleging online harassment, death threats, and insults. The lawyer, Audrey Msellati, said the complaint doesn’t name any specific perpetrator or perpetrators of the alleged crimes.

Well, it's just too bad that this organizer has felt some pressure, but if he/she/whatever had minded his/her/its own business, and had not deliberately insulted the sanctity of the , then none of this backlash would have happened. Clearly, if there had been any consideration as to the glorious promises contained within the blessed , then this frivolous lawsuit would never have been contemplated!

Religious historians are pointing out the dangers of making fun of Christians and Jesus. The Bible warned there would be scoffers. Jesus said just before the cross there would those who ridiculed. God takes revenge on those who scoff and puts the hammer down. God took revenge on those who ridiculed Jesus on the Cross. He had Jesus up and running in three days and has been ruling the world ever since. The link points out the many other punishment metered out to those who went to parody. France should be running for cover as we speak:

            Thank you Jesus.

I'd even heard that The Last Supper was a parody of gods' dining extravaganzas, attempting to roll the whole lot into a single temple with a single pontiff and a single god (conveniently imported from elsewhere) for exactly the purpose we see today—and for the last millennium and a half—grinding down all who'd cower but let's be frank: we are the ones who don't cower: slice us at will, we will never be your creatures.
