I want to thank Billy Bob and Cranky Old Man and other True Christians for writing "Bible, Bible, Bible" when so many others were writing "babble, babble, babble."

Even a weak minded female like myself could see that Michael Jackson was as far from Bible-baked goodness as a pop star could get.

One of the most important goals of the Bible is to set forth clear, understandable delineations so people could understand that which is acceptable to God and that which is not.

Michael Jackson was neither male nor female, black nor white, adult or child or even-- given his close associations with chimps-- human or animal.

The man defied every God-given category given to us in the God-given Bible. He was, as the priests of Leviticus would have called him, unclean, an abomination.

Almighty God didn't go around creating all sorts of blended, neither-this-nor-that monstrosities. If you look at His natural creations, you will see people who are male OR female (remember Genesis?).

People were made white in the cool, comfortable north, and black in the hot, miserable south. Children become adults at a set time in communities all over the world and are expected to "put aside foolish things". (Thanks, Paul!)

Animals are sorted out first by Adam, then by the priestly class and fulfill specific, designated functions for the benefit of mankind. They plow our fields, carry our burdens and chase Indians or convert surplus grain into main course meat. They are not our roommates!

Oh, and sometimes they decorate our nice church hats.

Michael Jackson spent his life ignoring all of the God-created divisions of everything that God created. In doing so, he completely forgot about the most important division of all -- going to hell, or not going to hell.

So much for a life spent blending and blurring what God made with His Own Hands. Speaking of which, I bet that one glove isn't doing much to protect some one's bleached flesh from burning torment.

Fellow Christians, I confess that I judiciously avoid the sin and depravity that infests the pop culture in this country, and when the news of Michael Jackson's demise hit the news it was just one more log in Satan's lake of fire for me.

Little did I know until yesterday that Michael Jackson had converted to being a mooselimb shortly before Jesus dispatched him to his just reward.

I don't know what more incontrovertible evidence anyone needs to convince them that Michael Jackson is in hell right now (and for the foreseeable future I might add), if not for just rejecting Jesus and worshiping the false "Allah".

Not only has Jesus spared us from any more mooselimb songs penned by this pedophile (obviously following in the footsteps of Mohammed - piss be upon him), but has no doubt saved us from more terrorist attacks.

It's time to put this thread to rest, and I petition Wash to finally close it for good.

Are you kidding me? You call yourself a pastor???!!! First of all, Jesus never sent anyone to hell. Man sends himself to Hell by rejecting God's gift of salvation. Sir, it is obvious by your statement that you have no love in your heart. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. What's more, I think it is horrible that people like you are in positions of ministry, YOU are pushing away non-believers and misleading Christians, YOU sir are "leader" of the body of Christ and will be held to a higher standard. It is my hope that you will fall on your knees and ask God to give you love and compassion.

Years ago, I was writing a paper on one of Maya Angelou's stories. I used the character's voice as my own to make a point in my paper. The character referred to herself as a "colored girl."

Well, went I put that essay through spell check, dang if it didn't pop up and advise me that "colored" was possibily a perjorative term and maybe I could use another word. This was SPELL CHECK pursuing a political agenda!

Years later, I worked in a retail establishment. There were two large bins with little bundles of scissors. Each bin held three different size scissors tied together in groups of three. One bin held semi-translucent white scissors, the bundles in the other bin had scissors in red, blue, and green, one of each to a bundle.

I did not DARE refer to those bundles as "colored" scissors. I referred to them as "scissors of color".

So, you're glad that you don't serve the God that we serve? Well, we didn't make Him up. We took Him on His Word straight from the Bible.

What He says, goes. We don't cobble together a "dear and fluffy Lord" to coddle our delicate sensibilites or anybody else's sensibilites, either.

"You Shall Have No Other God Before Me." is unambiguous and succinct.

Knowing in His wisdom how stupid and stubborn we can be, God makes both His authority and His person very clear. His command to obey His
Word is sprinkled throughout His Word. How complicated is it, really?

Read the Bible-- not just the parts that make you feel warm and validated, but the parts that make you squirm. God requires all from us. It is His right.

Here's a poser for you. Many people would be willing to die for their country. They would also be willing to kill for their country,( possibly so they could put off dying for their country as long as possible.)

Whom do you serve? Is not God to be first in your heart? I bet you've playing with little scenarios in your head about being martyred for the Lord. If asked, you would declare without hesitation that you would be willing to die for your faith. Are you likewise willing to kill for your faith? You would kill to protect your country and loved ones, I bet--also in simple self-defense if your life was in danger. We're talking about your soul here. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?

Not only would hell hurt you, but it would break Jesus's heart to send you there after all the time He put into His personal relationship with you.
Be nice to Jesus! Follow His every word and great will be your reward in Heaven.
