Depends on whether it's in town or on property. Figure $100-200K in town . . .

    Er . . .

But cost of living is really low in North Salem.

    Dear Friends,

Might Mitt have been excluding offshore monies? I guess there have been times when, excluding my earnings deposited in BABCO (Bahamas) and Toomba, LP (Hong Kong), my annual income would be less than $250k.

If so, he should have explained himself more clearly. Repatriation of offshore earnings IS a real middle class issue, and if he can help me bring that money back to the US, I'd like to hear about it.

    Yours in Him,
    BAB

"No one can say my plan is going to raise taxes on middle-income people, because principle number one is (to) keep the burden down on middle-income taxpayers," Romney told host George Stephanopoulos.
"Is $100,000 middle income?" Stephanopoulos asked.
"No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less," Romney responded.
His campaign later clarified that Romney was referencing household income, not individual income.
Mitt is going for the Latino Pool-Cleaner/Gardener vote.

This shows how much Romney is out of touch with REAL America. Maybe in to the Freehold slums you might have the lowlifes scarping by with 250K

What I am afraid of is that Romney might be right. It could very well be that Obama's insane taxes have lowered the average middle income to a meassily $250k. Effectively reducing all those with a middle income to poverty level.

    Romney Gaffe: $250k "Middle Income"

    Dear Friends,

This guy is totally out-of-touch. Can you imagine living on $250,000 a year? With the price of diamond-tipped canes these days?

I'm not sure exactly where "middle income" is, but for starters, Mr. Romney, try adding a damn zero.
