Why would the House Ethics Committee look into something as honest as using an empty property for a campaign office? Don't the Committee's members have anything more important to do?
Instead, they are trying to get some dirt of our Christian friend, House Member Stevie Plazzo. It all started when Stevie wanted to sell a vacation property he had owned for 20 years. It is on the Tchoutacabouffa River near Biloxi.
The house was in bad shape. Stevie needed to fix it up so he could sell it for $1.1 million. To get money for this Stevie rented it to his campaign. The campaign, needing to pay Stevie for renting this beautiful property, paid him $80,000. As it turned out the campaign never moved into the house but that had nothing to do with the $80,000. This was owned to Stevie.
The press is poking around this deal thinking there is something illegal about a campaign renting office space. No Republican in good standing should be supporting this.
