I have something to say,I am sorry if I offended anyone on this site,I lost my head because violence is wrong,war is wrong,God wants us to love thy neighbor as thyself,man or women,why would you strike down someone you love? I could understand if it were someone who was going to put a key in an electrical socket or a child who runs into the middle of the street,thats different ,but still you do not beat them to kingdom come.I am a christian and myself and my lord in heaven know that and no one can tell me different,I really am a very loving spiritual being who does not judge,but as I said I lost my temper so please forgive my outbursts ,thank you and God Bless......Mayangel67but it is never ok to beat anyone.never

You call yourself a Christian, but where do you get your ideas about what it means to be a Christian? Obviously not from the Bible. The Bible recommends beating people for many situations:

As punishment for crimes:
Deut 25:2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

To cleanse away evil:
Prov 20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.

For being fools:
Prov 26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.

And to raise your kids right:
Prov 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

If you don't beat your your children, it means you don't love them:
Prov 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Don't stop beating your kids just because they are crying...
Prov 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

...but beat them to within an inch of their lives if that's what it takes to save them from Hell.
Prov 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Prov 23:14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Why call yourself a Christian if you don't accept the Bible's teachings? You sound more like a humanist to me.

yes I know God says to discipline your children,I didnt say I didnt believe in corporal punishment ,but it should never be in the face and never within an inch of anyones life.........its just wrong,God says we should all be like children not act as children.you people act as if theres no love shown to women or children,can you show me where it says in the bible that women have no soul,because I am very spiritual and I can feel my soul inside,I am one of Gods beautiful creations and should never think less of myself,You too are beautiful in Gods eyes.there is a difference in discipline and violence............Mayangel67 Why do you judge so harshly,I thought the whole reason for fellowship was to preach Gods good word not act as animals and name calling,I am just as much guilty as you people when it comes to namecalling and for that I ask forgivness from you all.....Mayangel67

We are happy to provide scriptural references for everything we say. It would be nice if you showed me the in the Bible where it says anything about what YOU think or where it agrees with your opinions, because you are wrong.

Do women have souls? Probably not. This report is from May, 2000:

Landover Baptist Creation Scientist, Dr. Fred Neiman, announced findings related to his research into the female soul early this week. "The absence of either salvation or condemnation for women finds extensive support in the Word of God." He reported. "Jesus said that the sole reason God created women in the first place was to provide company and service to men (1 Corinthians 11:9), God determined that men would be lonely living alone, so he created women purely to keep men company and serve their needs (Genesis 2:18-22). Women are therefore completely subordinate to men (1 Corinthians 11:3). It stands to reason, though, that once men enter the Kingdom of Heaven, they will be one with God, and will no longer be lonely and in need of mortal companionship. Thus, the reason behind having women will no longer exist. Women, like the members of the animal kingdom, will fall by the wayside." Dr. Neiman went on to say that, "once men reunite with their maker, they will no longer be burdened with the care of women. After all, women were inferior creations from the start. Women are fond of self-indulgence (Isaiah 32:9-11). They are silly and easily led into error (2 Timothy 3:6). They are subtle and deceitful (Proverbs 7:10; Ecclesiastes 7:26). They are zealous in promoting superstition and idolatry (Jeremiah 7:18; Ezekiel 13:17, 23). And they are active in instigating to iniquity (Numbers 31:15-16; 1 Kings 21:25; Nehemiah 13:26). It was the inherent weakness of women that led them to be deceived by Satan (Genesis 3:1-6; 2 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Timothy 2:14). Consequently, women were cursed from the start (Genesis 3:16). There is simply no room in heaven for such flawed and inadequate beings."
Pastor Deacon Fred warned the congregation that there was no reason to be alarmed. "Dr. Neiman's conclusions still need to be formalized," he assured. "I am certain that our team of religious experts will find some way around these Scriptures." Some of the women present were visibly shaken by the report. A teary eyed Sister Taffy Crockett said through choked sobs, "I've heard of colored women not having souls... but me? NO! This is outrageous!"
Pastor did have some comforting words for the ladies of Landover. "I personally want to assure all female members of this church that until we examine Dr. Neiman's research to our complete satisfaction, consider yourselves saved."

Nobar,in todays society no marks should be visable,when I was a child if I sassed my father or mother I would be on the floor holding my cheek,that is probrably why to this very day I would never disrespect my parents,it is also true that kids now a days do not have the respect we all did when we were children.I still believe that you should not beat someone nearly to death......I'm not perfect I too have layed my hands on another,in self defense and yes my son had spankings when he was young ,but I also raised him to be a Gentleman.It was hard for me,as I am a single mother and had to raise him alone ,but I am stronger for it and stronger too for all the negetive things that have happened in my life,Im 41 and have been thru more than most people but I feel God has blessed me too and has made me stronger.have you ever heard the story about the crosses we carry,about the man who went into the store and said his cross was to heavy a burden to carry and he wanted a new cross, in the end he picked the very cross he walked in with,because God does not give us more than we can carry,so I am happy to carry the cross I carry because Jesus carried his and died so we could all be forgiven of our sins......mayangel

if what you say is true ,than how can a women even go into heaven? there are women on this site and it says they will enter into glory and be on the Right hand side of God,how if they have no soul? if a woman has no soul why would she even want to live? do you men even love these women?in a previous post I believe it was nobar who said that if it came down to science and the bible,science would be thrown away and disregarded.So how then can you believe a scientist of God to say that he suspects women have no souls,but he is not sure,and will get back to you when he knows for sure,science is wrong we did not evolve from monkeys,we came from adam and eve.God made us from dust of the earth and if adam was made from the dust of the earth so too was eve,she is a part of adam right?are are born of dust and dust we shall return when we die........Mayangel67
