A false "Christian" thinks...
"love thy neighbor" somehow translates to tolerate and support everybody.
God creating the earth in seven days, the parting of the Red Sea, Jonah, Daniel and the lions, the Flood, and most of the Bible are just simple allegorical stories that we can overlook, but Jesus saving an adulterous woman from stoning or telling us we must love our enemies absolutely, positively has to be understood 100% literally.
The Bible is 100% subject to our own personal ideas of what right or wrong is. Don't agree that homosexuality is a sin? Then it's not and it's perfectly okay. Is stealing a sin? Yes, okay, we can leave that in there.

...that the parts of the Bible that count can fit onto a bumper sticker, and the rest is just filler and pull quotes.
...that you can get to Heaven by ways other than faith in Christ (in which case He wasted His time by being crucified, Gal. 2:21).
...that the loving way to treat sinners is not to warn them away from their sin, but to mind your own business and let them slide off into the lake of fire.
...that we should follow the "true message of Christ," which by the most amazing coincidence is whatever that liberal wanted to believe anyway.
