Can my dog have a soul?

    Dear Pastors,

My dog is so sweet. She knows exactly how I feel.

She'd like to know if she can have a soul. Would that be alright?

Re: Can my dog have a soul?

Why in the world would you come on this forum and ask such a silly question? Are you trying to be obtuse? God granted man a soul and man only. That is what makes us special to God. If you believe that you dog or any other animal has a soul -- you are demeaning God's favorite creation -- Christian men.

If you really want to be part of this forum, I recommend that you read your Bible. Even children know that Scruffy the dog is a souless meatsack.

Re: Can my dog have a soul?

Look, lady, I don't know where you live, but it sure isn't anywhere near me. My neighbors love my dog. No one has ever complained about him.

With the crazy way you write, I wonder if even YOU have a soul.

        Edit--
My dog is not a scruffy soul-less meat sack. That was a terrible thing to say about my best friend. She'll be here for me, I always know that.

Well, you're just wrong. When my dogs die they are going to be in doggy heaven. This is what I imagine they see when they go to heaven:

There are cats EVERYWHERE!! Chase! Chase!

Are you a moron? Have you been checked out by good Christian doctors to see if you are a complete retard? My 3 year old daughter knows better. You must be completely retarded.

Re: Can my dog have a soul?

I'm no Biblical scholar, but I can use google. I'll be waiting for your argument to this scripture:
              • Ecc 3:21
              • What knoweth the spirit of a man that goeth upward?
              • or the spirit of the Animal that goeth downward to the earth?
So in other words the bible might be telling us that =
              Animals Spirits "Stay upon"
the earth after death. This verse could also indicate that Animals would have a Soul. Please Note that the bible says the spirit of an animal goes downward TO the earth, It does not say downward INTO the earth, so it would make sense that the animals spirit would stay upon the earth after death. Because, first upon death the spirit must RISE out of the body, once it rises the animals spirit goes instead of up, goes downward to the earth or back down to the earth, where it could remain free to walk the earth. So if you have a pet you have lost due to death, please take comfort in knowing that your animal is probably still upon the earth with you.
              See, animals DO have spirits.

She's a woman and she's black. I doubt she does have a soul. We need to ask a pastor.

Re: Can my dog have a soul?

I think the real question is: Does an atheist have a soul?

I'd love to have a couple of my house nigras up in Heaven with me, they've been loyal servants. And I love my dogs more than I love any smart-mouth atheist, I can tell you that!
                  Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

How could an atheist have a soul? What use would it be? That would be like a cat owning a swimming pool. Not gonna need it.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Brother Nobar, I believe Pastor Ezekiel was being facetious. Of course atheists have souls. Do you think God's going to let them off scot-free after denying His existence? No! They're going to be made into s'mores at Satan's everlasting campfire. Praise Jesus. If atheists were to not have souls, their silly and childish theory that when they die they cease to exist would be correct. Let me assure you, the only thing that will cease to exist is their atheism.

I thought this thread was about SOULS, NOT SPIRITS??

Yes, the Spirit of the man goes upwards - BECAUSE he has a SOUL TOO! The Spirit of the animal does down, because animals don't have a soul.

Every living thing has a spirit, what is why they live and breathe. However the soul is what makes man special. Spirit, Soul, and Body, we are unique because God made us unique. Praise Jesus!

First you say that "she would like to know" (are you on drugs, talking to your dog?) and later you say that your neighbours are not bothered by "him".
Did your dog change sex? Sounds pretty unique to me.
