If your personal Bible is the inspired word of God then of course God would not allow it to burn the same as anyone who follows it to burn in hell. So, if you are able to take a lighter to a page and successfully ignite it then it must be evil and will lead you to burn in the fires in hell.

Also, if you don't feel like starting a fire, then if you can't take small pieces of the Bible and either use just that part or ignore it, then you should not be able to separate it. So, take a single page of the bible and attempt to rip it out. If that page separates it is not part of God's holy word and should be discarded because God would not allow his word to be separated.

Test it yourself, my Bible didn't burn nor did it tare, see if your Bible does the same.

That doesn't make sense. Just because God gives you a rope (free will) doesn't mean you have to hang yourself with it.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil, he was told to throw himself to a certain death, knowing that the angels of heaven would come down to catch him. But Jesus responded that we are not to test the Lord God.

To an evolutionist* a book is an inanimate object which doesn't evolve or have any sense of self preservation. In order to evolve it must be able to have offspring. No matter how many copies of The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin you have on a shelf together, you will never see another book produced on it's own.

If you want to see evolution in action, look closer than bacteria, which are able to adapt and resist antibiotics.

You know how lysol says it kills 99.99% of germs? Lets say you have 1,000,000 bacteria/germs. 99.99% then there would be 1 germ/bacteria left, which will then be immune to Lysol. Since bacteria reproduce by splitting/mitosis which takes 1 germ that and can split into 2 germs, and those 2 split into 4, those 4 split into 16 and so on. If a bacteria goes under mitosis say... every 10 mins. Since it double every 10 mins, then after an hour you have roughly 4,294,967,296 bacteria that will not be effected by Lysol. I went to public school, which is why I know this.

Either that or you're too scared to try. A false idol would burn, that is the difference. The bible will not burn if it is the true word of God, of course if it isn't, then the bible will turn into a pile of ashes.

I demonstrated your fallacy with a counter-example.

Your conclusion is based on your own false premise. Just like people can disregard God without being punished or stopped instantly, one can desecrate a Bible without being punished or stopped instantly.

In fact, many do. Not by burning, but by portraying themselves to be Christians with a pick-and-choose mentality.

Yes. If the sun were a nuclear reaction, it would have to be further away. Since it is made from coal, 500 miles is about right.

Where does it say the sun is made of coal? I checked the entire thread and found no one who questioned him.

For those who would like to know, Pastor Isaac Peters is unable to answer the question I asked him, he therefore sent me a warning for "talking back to him."

As far as I know, pastors should be able to answer all biblical questions, not ask them. They should already know what the bible says. I don't see how asking a question is an offensive act, maybe as the pastor answers my questions of.

1. Where does it say the sun is made of coal.
2. Where does it say the bible is able to burn.

Then he can also answer how asking a religious question is offensive. I do believe the Bible states to live a Christ-like life. I can't remember a verse where Jesus was questioning his disciples or anyone he was sermonizing and smited anyone who couldn't answer.

Losing an argument with someone who has a doctorate in theology when I am still working on my bachelors in biology doesn't "hurt." If you would like to argue evolution then I will be more than willing. However, you appear to ban anyone who appears to be winning, so I will remain silent in the facet.

Being a Pastor is more than just adminerstrating the Words of Holy Scripture (although nobody does it better than this Forums' Pastors).
The job has a lots of tending to the needs of fundraising for all the poor widows and orphans who needs daily sustinats and help.

I am almost done with my G.E.D. and wish to maybe get a degree as a Choirpractor (I like cracking bones in peoples back,and I like money too).

Being a Pastor is more than just adminerstrating the Words of Holy Scripture (although nobody does it better than this Forums' Pastors).
The job has a lots of tending to the needs of fundraising for all the poor widows and orphans who needs daily sustinats and help.

I study too , friend.

I think the bigger questions we should ask ourselves is:
a. who are you?
b. By what credentials do you base this off of.(your inability to pass high school speaks volumes)
