Right I am leaving this forum because I can’t stand it any longer. You people are nothing but resist, homophobic’s and perverts. We live in a world full of individuals, you want them to hear your opinions on life, yet you will not listen to ours because we do not matter. You call people horrid names because they have a love for something that in your opinion is unnatural and go about burning the books. Yet if I were to burn the bible, because in my opinion this is just a fictional book you would cry out saying how wrong it is. Books, films, toys and games are created to develop the imagination of children, even adults alike.

I am proud to have a love for Harry Potter. Joanne Rowling is a brilliant woman, what other author has gotten half the world to read and enjoy it? Created a book that will go through the centres as a classic for children and adults alike? A woman who has used her own fortune to help charities around the world, and close to home? Given people jobs and careers though agreeing to have her fantastic stories made into films?

I am also proud to say I have a black boyfriend, whom I live with and who I love with all my heart, and one day I will be the mother of his children and his wife, but only when we are ready for this. I am proud to say I have a gay best friend, who is funny and caring, and a bloody brilliant Rugby Player who could have gone to the Super League but didn’t want to leave his family and friends by moving away so he plays in a semi-professional team and coach’s youths. A best friend who is a single mother and who’s child is very bright and loving. And a best friend who doesn’t care what people think of her when she dyes her hair a different colour each week, and has multiple facial piercing because she is expressing her self and been an individual, who is a friend to anyone who accepts her and will be a friend for life because when she choose a close friend she loves them like they are family, like a brother or sister. I accept them for who they are, and they accept me for who I am.

I came here as I was struggling with religion, I didn’t know what to believe. But I am leaving here now as unsure as ever. Because if what you say is true that god is not the man (Or Woman) they he (Or she) is portrayed to be.

There is only one way to Heaven, and that is to follow God's commands. ALL of them, not just the handful that you like.

Here, I think, is your real problem:

God is exactly as He is portrayed IN THE BIBLE.

In popular culture, God is some all-loving entity who forgives everybody of any sin and lets everybody into Heaven.

Then people get confused, when they see how an all-loving entity allows millions of children to starve to death every day, or die of preventable diseases like dysentery (in which they painfully and slowly die of diarrhea).

The Bible makes it all clear; God is the creator of both good AND evil, and of peace AND war. He says so Himself.

God loves those who obey Him. He hates all others. He hates them so much that after they die, He will resurrect them from the dead at Judgment, just so He can cast them into an eternity of torture in His Lake of Fire.

Want to know who God is? Read the Bible, not the fairy tales told by feelgood preachers who just want you to show up and put money in the plate.

What point are you exactly trying to make? You first talk about your love for homers, Harry Potter, and adulterers, and then blabber on about how you're too weak to accept Jesus.


Our beliefs are not opinions, they are factual laws that God himself gave to us through his love. You've completely contradicted our Lord by having a love for witchcraft, homers, and adulterers.

Leviticus 18:22 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

I am very sad to see you go. I know that probably confuses you. Yes, I (and some others) were tough on you. We did not like upsetting you. But it is obvious you need a little rattling. You seem like a sweet girl. One day, reality will catch up with you and incredible misery will befall you. You will turn to Jesus in a panic and He will not listen because when you did not need Him, you shunned Him. We do not want that to happen. We want you to get to know God now, before it is too late.
Religion is not the place to talk of children's books. There is only one book you should be talking about and that is the KJV Bible. Do your self a big favor, read the KJV aloud to your boyfriend, every single word of it. Know that even though God did not personally write it, He approved its' contents. He expects you to follow every rule and regulation. There are lesser Bibles (ones that omit critical parts because the greedy Priests do not want to scare away the money) but by following one of them, you are not truly following the word of God.
