Brethren,
I must confess that occasionally I have the urge to read popular atheist and science bestsellers so as to better understand the enemies of GOD, and perhaps allow HIM to reveal to me their weaknesses so I can exploit any chinks in their collective hell-forged armor. Recently I've discovered this Jew York Times Bestseller called "The Blank Slate" by Steven Pinker (someone who's obviously gay AND a commie if the surname holds true). But seriously, one look at this guy and you can tell he just ain't right:

Fellow Christians, this guy's more mixed up than a drugged blindfolded retard trying to hit a pinata! Not only is he arguing that there is "evidence" against free will, he has the audacity to propose that we are wired in the womb to be gay, liberal, atheist, humanist, and so on!
We all know that our GOD-given minds are malleable, and hence we have the duty to mold and shape those impressionable minds to see THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE that is Jesus Christ! But Pinker has riled up the good Christian in me with his theories, which rely heavily on Darwinism. He dismisses promiscuity, violence, selfishness, even religious beliefs and more as processes originating in the brain--and only the brain, devoid of any soul, or "Ghost in the Machine." An excerpt:
"Love, will, and conscience are in the traditional job description for the soul and have always been placed in opposition to mere 'biological' functions. If those faculties are 'biological' too--that is, evolutionary adaptations implemented in the circuitry of the brain--then the ghost is left with even less to do and might as well be pensioned off for good."
And rather than weaving just another psychological theory, Pinker makes it personal when he attacks Christianity:
"The religious opposition to evolution is fueled by several moral fears. Most obviously, the fact of evolution challenges the literal truth of the creation story in the Bible and thus the authority that religion draws from it. As one creationist minister put it, 'If the Bible gets it wrong in biology, then why should I trust the Bible when it talks about morality and salvation?'
"The religious right is discomfited not just by evolution but by neuroscience. By exorcising the ghost in the machine, brain science is undermining two moral doctrines that depend on it. One is that every person has a soul, which finds value, exercises free will, and is responsible for its choices. If behavior is controlled instead by circuits in the brain that follow the laws of chemistry, choice and value would be myths and the possibility of moral responsibility would evaporate."
I don't see this guy as presenting an imminent threat to our faith (after all, he IS Canadian), but he certainly has some dangerous ideas, and some of the "intellectuals" are getting behind his theories.
I'll close with a short video from this demon-possessed hellbound homo, and I bear no responsibility for any broken PC monitors due to anyone attempting to stone this guy.
