According to the Society for Popular Astronomy all you can see of the ISS with binoculars is a moving dot. Which could be anything and thereby proves nothing. So even the hoax people themselves say you are a liar. Being called a liar by liars, that must feel very humiliating.

To be really serious here (because obviously this person isn't being serious), I wonder if this might be why the spherical earth myth came into being among the atheistics? Because if too many of them visited the edge, a lot of them would fall off. And Satan wants them to remain here.

A rather insightful post, Sister. The myth that serves as a reason to stop questioning and simply accept fables and stories as legitimate information to explain the world, human nature, and what happens after death. It sounds as if they have a kind of childish reward system built right in - those who trust and sit put and refuse to think will be rewarded with safety, whereas those who question the myth and seek out the truth (which they call a lie) will surely die a gruesome death.

Okay, okay, okay, the earth is a sphere, you can take a rocket to space, and see for yourself if you have to. How would you explain how the sun rises and sets? does the sun somehow crash into the ground, and same for the moon?

Furthermore, if the world is flat, then that would mean it would stretch for infinite miles in all directions? then go fly a car in one of these directions, you will see that you will return to the same spot eventually.

If you climb a mountain, or fly very high in a plane, you won't be able to see forever. Don't believe me? Try it. Next time you are in a plane, look out the window, and tell me what the great wall of China looks like from a mile above the Grand Canyon.

A piece of paper won't stick to the bottom of a balloon, because the balloon is already within a field of gravity, "EARTH." The earth has SO MUCH MASS, and it's not even the largest planet in the SOLAR SYSTEM. It has the perfect level of gravity because God placed it in the perfect spot in the solar system, close enough to the sun to stay warm, but not too far that it will freeze.
The Moon rotates around the Earth, which rotates on it's own axis, while simultaneously rotating around the sun, along with all of the other planets.
This constant spinning creates an invisible force, pushing down against all of the things on earth, but not too much. This force is called Gravity. The Gravitational force of the Moon, along with the Mass of the Earth, forms the perfect balance for us, and keeps everything from flying off into space.

Gravity is has a push AND pull effect to it, with the Moon pushing, and the Earth pulling, this means that people below the equator won't simply "fall off".
Also, in space, there is no up or down, which also helps my case.
