    Greetings!

Hello to all of Landover! My name is Joanna and I am very grateful to be allowed by my dear husband, Isaiah, to join this site. I attend a local Baptist church near the gated community I live in. I reside with my husband and our children in the state of Georgia. I am happy to be blessed with twelve (soon to be thirteen!) children. I have been married for 17 years. Currently I am mother to six sons and six daughters and I am praying to be blessed with another son! My favorite Bible verse is 1st Corinthians 11:15, "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering,". I often use this among many other verses to explain to my daughters how a woman must present herself in order to be desirable to a suitor and to please the Lord. I hope you all have a blessed day!

My oh my! What a polite Introduction by a meek woman! Welcome.

    Proverbs 8:33
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

I'm also praying that your next child will be a male one. God has given you quite a burden with so many females, but we don't blame you - it can be that someone in your bloodline four generations ago angered the Lord somewhat.

I'm sure you are going to enjoy being able to praise Jesus with us.

    Yours in Christ,

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums! How nice to see Christian lady embracing the Quiver Full lifestyle! What homeschool curriculum do you use?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

        Re: Greetings!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I do hope God finds my womb worthy enough to produce another strong, male soldier for him! Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

And hello Mary! Currently I use the curriculum funded by my local Baptist church. Many of the lessons I have managed to use the family King James Bible almost exclusively. What better way is there teach my children how to write when it is Bible verses they are writing down?

          Warm welcomes!!!

It is nice to meet a humble, well instructed woman here.

There really has been some kind of sin lying on your shoulders, because you have wasted 11 of your husband's marriage years. He must have been thinking of what his life would have been like if you'd been able to give him more sons.

Well, lets hope there is now a boy coming.

Blessings, we all pray that everything turns better.

            Re: Greetings!

I hope to repent whatever sin it may be on soul. I have been praying even more frequently than before. But it is up to God to decide if I am fit enough in his eyes to bear another son. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Of course Mrs. Faithful. God gives, takes and tests. We accept. A lesson most sinners never master.

              We don't ask, we follow.
              We don't negotiate, we submit.
              We don't like, we obey!
              God loves, we fear.
God hates, we are in glorious awe!

              Praise God!

I'll be praying for you with the Words of the Good Book:

              Psalms 144:12
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

In response to the original question, currently we own no nigra slaves. I have no issue with this only because it allows me to instill extra hardwork into my daughters in to keeping a household clean without nigra hands touching everything. And what would I ever do if the house, my children, and the other possessions my husband has worked so hard to provide started stinking like one?!

Welcome, Sister. It is good to see a fine Christian woman, such as yourself, coming for fellowship on this friendly site.

I agree with your policy of having no Negroes. They are a nasty race and given to unspeakable outrages. Also, the Yankees get mad if you hold them as servants. My own family got rid of all of ours after the Yankees invaded Texas. When you combine their Negroe savagery with the problems brought on by association with angry Yankees, it just wasn't worth the effort. Most of ours starved when we set them free.
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11
