At what age if any should I stop spanking my daughters?

My daughters can get a bit sassy like their mother and I frequently find my self spanking their bare bottoms in order to keep them contrite and compliant. Kathrine is 11 and Kelly is 14. A good switching followed my a hand spanking and scolding is the general routine. Sometimes I use a razor strop. Now that they are becoming young ladies should the spanking duties be taken over my the missus? Should I spank only through their britches or should I continue the bare bottom spankings?

Please advise.

My old Pastor from my old church had said something about fathers only spanking their developing daughter with their britches up or to bring them to him for their spankings. He has certain rules about spankings and what implements are acceptable. He says the hand should not be used in the punishment phase but during the correction phase and that is what I have been doing. He had given several sermons about discipline along with a few demonstrations. He has two basic categories called scrubbers and Biblicals but he never really explained the Biblical precedent to his suggestions but it has caused me to be a bit reluctant to spank them as often as I think I should. I did not want to question this man of God but I had always suspect that he had gotten it wrong. Now I feel much better about spanking them on their bare bottoms using my usual method of punishment and correction. Now that I think of it they both are long overdue for a good fanny warming session.

Thank you Pastor Ezekiel for your sound and correct advice. There has been some general sassiness and idleness from the girls latlely.

One a penny, two a penny hot crossed buns! I will use a sapling to switch a cross on each buttock. I'll raise some welt on them for sure.

Kelly has had some boys sniffing around but none of them are acceptable. True Christian men are rare in Missouri.

Pastor Pistle once again offers some sage and Biblical advice. You all have been extremely helpful with your Godly advice. Those two won't be able to sit for a week. Their mother may be getting the business end of the strop soon too.

I know some folks have physical limitations, which might reduce the effectiveness of a hand delivered spanking, but there are some very good prosthetic devices available. For those of you on a limited income, a simple fixed mast car aerial will do wonders too!

That was a very impressive and Godly machine. I can swing a pretty mean razor strop. I car aerial would work great. Could you describe how your daddy spanked you? What sort of implement did he use and does he still spank you?

If Jesus had had kids I suppose he would have used a wooden paddle or a switch or maybe palm boughs. Being a carpenter I bet he had strong hands and arms. Jesus would have spanked extra hard. DO you think I should be spanked the ways Jesus would have spanked his kids, if he had had kids?
