I was just interested into everyone's views here about Westboro and everything that they follow.
You both seem similar, so why don't you join up and protest?

They are fairly Liberal so I think they might be a front for a homosexual commune. At least this week I do. It depends on what they are doing at the time.

I agree with Brother Marshall. Sometimes they have their good points, but all in all they're just too liberal and lukewarm, while what they need to be doing is taking a firm stand on the side of God!

Brother, what firmer stand could they take than the sure knowledge that God Hates Fags? It's true!

Now, I know, they don't advertise it, but I know for a fact that Pastor Phelps preaches from the AV1611 King James Bible. About the only thing I can find wrong with them is their dress code is a bit lax especially for the young women.

I believe Westboro has used a woman as a spokesperson.

Seems kind of unGodly to encourage women to talk about important religious matters.

All they whine about is homers. There are many more sins than just that. I admire their stance against homers but praising the death of our Christian soldiers on their holy crusade against the Muslime hordes tells me that Westboro is an agent of Satan.

I will give Westboro credit for their devotion to Jesus, but I do not care for their liberal politics.

c'mon guys, the westboro baptist church isn't christian or spreading the word of god. They are spreading the words of hate and intolerance and give Christians a bad name. they aren't "devoted to jesus" because jesus taught love and compassion above anything the westboro baptist church. also they preach against judaism, even though jesus was jewish. hate the sin, not the sinner. we're all children of god so don't hate them.

The bible is the word of god, singular not plural. If the words "word of god" were written in 12 times new roman font, i'd have to imagine leviticus 18:22 is a few atoms of ink. They're basing their preaching on those atoms, while ignoring the hundreds if not thousands of verses preaching love, tolerance, and respect.

And y'all stop hating on obama, he needs our support. if i do have "second thoughts" on obama, its not based on his supposed devotion to the religion of Islam. I have no problem if he's muslim. First admentment. Read the quran y'all. you don't have to acknowledge its divinity to appreciate its poetic and moral lessons.

It looks to me like you have never actually read the Bible. You might want to pick up an A.V. 1611 and read it cover to cover. You might learn something.

You have violated Church protocol by posting your first post on the wrong thread. You need to review the Pastor's Rules and Announcements. Pay close attention to the "noobs" thread. You may then post on the introduction forum where you can take advantage of the opportunity to tell us about yourself. We like to know things like where you go to church, and what your favorite Bible verses are.

God created us and called us good. He loves all that is good. By free will we sin, not by any action of God. Sin is clearly an abomination to God. A parent can be angry with their children, but still loves them.
