Wow -- here it comes. Ecumenism being disguised as "tolerance".
What was the point of the crucifixion, if Buddhists can meditate their way into heaven?
Oprahism -- that's a great term. She certainly does have a cult-like following.

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
A couple months back an episode of Oprah aired where she had two "Christian" ministers on there, both of them far-liberal and probably never read a Bible in their lives. One was even a negro with dreadlocks and I could swear I could smell the ganja through the television. The topic of the show was "Spirituality" and I knew it was going to be a train wreck as soon as I heard that.
I'm not sure if this was the episode it was taken from or not. But what stuck out in my mind was where a homosexual called into the show and told the "pastors" about his problems. I kid you not, the negro minister actually said that "being gay is a gift from God", which was followed by thunderous applause and the agreement of the other minister.
That's news to me. I wonder how many former abominations will become "gifts"? Bestiality? Raping your mother-in-law? Murdering someone? The possibilities are endless!

...there are ... many paths to what you call God...
...and to what God calls the devil.
ETA: The false prophetess Okra Windbag also brought up one of the God-mockers' favorite arguments, namely, that there are people on remote islands who have never heard of Our Lord Jesus Christ, so how can they be saved? Why does anyone still fall for that argument? Obviously, they weren't predestined to be saved.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
What if these people of remote islands were then saved by followers preaching the word to them?
Many "lost souls" have later found salvation by the help of others that visit and preach the Lords words. Especially in remote villages of the world
I do not feel that these are forgotten souls or that they were never intended to be "saved". I feel that they are waiting to hear the truth and once heard will then be saved and live praising the Lord for eternity.
This is the way of all religions whichever one you decide. To go out and share your understandings so as to "save" these souls from perishing and being forgotten.
I cannot do this myself though as I am not religious (at all) and never will be
But I still believe that if there were a god he'd want all to be saved and not:
Open up your hearts and welcome all, whatever their belief, some may be saved and some may not. But you will be doing the Lords work and this give you joy that you have saved them, or tried in doing so.

No I have never read the Bible or the Qur'an, or any other of these fairy tales
I do remember when I was young (and I'm being truthful as always) stories about Noah's Arc and things like that. I would prefer that book as a good moral book not this other thing (the sequel)
Maybe you could try and read it to your African American friends, but not me
By the way, am I allowed to lose this wait time in posting, its very annoying, and totally unjust. I have already stated I will be nice
Can you see my name is highlighted
This is because I am getting to more members than you
I like this highlighted color it helps others to see my posts better
Oh this thread: "Oprah Denies Christ"
I hope that you do realize that I deny Christ too, obviously
And I don't believe in Satan either, they kinda go hand in hand as you should know
I am happy to be free, and I wish that all can feel this freedom that I feel
It is like feeling at one with everything. You should try it, or better yet, let your kids go freely

OK, now I really know you are a blithering idjit.
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Moral compass. You can only understand Jesus coming back and killing one third of everything if you KNOW YOUR BIBLE!
Maybe you could try and read it to your African American friends, but not me
THERE ARE NO AFRICAN AMERICANS YOU RACIST TWAT!
How dare you to spout such nonsense! I bet you just hurt Sister Vavoline to her core. Have SOME respect please.

Well, Kimslander, and I hope you will change your screen name to that because you are slandering our God, His Word, and His Son. While you want to be all nice and accepting, that may be fine for you but not for a True Christian(TM).
2 Corintinthians 6 14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
So you won't find me out there with the unclean. Many years ago I had the mistaken notion that our job was to "win the lost" and did that type of work in Italy, trying to win the papists to become True Christians(TM). All I gained was a love of I-talian food.
I do not feel that these are forgotten souls or that they were never intended to be "saved". I feel that they are waiting to hear the truth and once heard will then be saved and live praising the Lord for eternity.
It's not about how you feel. It's about what God's Word says. If God wants any person to be saved, He will find a way to call that person:
John 6:37: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Romans 8:29-30: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
But I still believe that if there were a god he'd want all to be saved and not:
There is a God, and He's not bound by what you feel He'd want if only He were exactly like you.
