Study: rape only happens to sluts and never to True Christians™

I would like to present several results of my extensive study on the topic of rape that I will present at a conference. I hope this helps all the Christian fathers to make sure their daughters are safe.

I will give you the summary first, then cite secular sources and then explain why our daughters have almost 0% chance of being raped. Also note that to avoid any semblance of bias, I will cite only non-Christian and secular sources.

SUMMARY

Factors that increase the chance of being raped:

1. Dressing provocatively and/or sending mixed signals
2. Not being under the watch of a father or husband
3. Associating with people without morals (atheists, etc)
4. Associating with homersexuals and abortionists
5. Going to college
6. Not praying to God for protection
7. Using any kind of contraceptive
8. Consuming alcoholic beverages and/or taking drugs
9. Being out on the street at 3am
10. Being exposed to pro-promiscuity liberal media

Now by themselves, each factor my only increase the chance slightly, but almost all "victims" have a lifestyle that consists of a combination of these factors.

Various Reasons

1. About 9% of all women have frequent fantasies of being raped. They want it to happen to them.
2. When a woman commits adultery, she will say that she was "raped" when caught
3. When a woman is ashamed of her one-night stand, it will suddenly be a "rape"
4. When a foolish 18-year-old man has sex with his consenting 17-year-old girlfriend, secular law calls it statutory rape, even though no actual rape took place
5. The majority of rapes are not reported (for obvious reasons)
6. The woman was somehow offended and wanted to take revenge at the man, even though he was innocent

Consequences

1. Thousands of men are known to be freed based on DNA evidence for a crime the did not commit. In the meantime, they were raped in prison, even though their only fault was that they could not afford a hot-shot lawyer
2. Many men have lost their jobs, families, freedoms or even lives based on rape allegations that later turned out to be false
3. Even if a man wishes to take responsibility (e.g. through marriage), secular law blocks him from doing so

REFERENCES
This articlestates the following: "A recent analysis of 20 studies over the last 30 years indicates that between 31% and 57% of women have rape fantasies, and these fantasies are frequent or preferred in 9% to 17% of women. Considering that many people are ashamed to report rape fantasies, these stats are most likely lowball figures."

Taking the lower bound of 9%, we arrive at approximately 10 million women in the USA alone who are aroused by the idea of being raped. It is only logic that this translates into slutty lifestyle choices.

Another article states the following:

• 84% of women knew their attacker -- so they had already associated with them
• 57% happened on a date -- another risky undertaking
• 1 in 12 male students on colleges were (attempted) rapists

And another makes the following statements:

• 20% to 25% of college women are raped during their college career
• Alcohol is involved in 75% of attacks

WHY OUR DAUGHTERS ARE SAFE

When consulting a variety of sources, several factors keep returning. They all involve a combination of lifestyle choices that our own daughters do not have:

• They do not go to college but are homeschooled
• They are under the protection of their father or husband
• They do not use any drugs or alcohol
• They do not wear slutty clothing
• They read the KJV 1611 Bible as soon as they can read (coincidentally, this is also why they can out-spell any atheist)
• And above all: they are protected by God

That assumes that a rapist will not break into a house, kill the father and husband, force the daughter to drink/consume some alcohol/drugs change their clothes to something slutty, then rape them.

I find this whole thing highly unlikely.

Dress like a whore, deny Christ and you are far more likely to be "raped" than if you dress appropriately and accept Jesus as your Saviour and more importantly as your PROTECTOR.

Makes perfect sense and only an imbecile would disagree.

You are right that I did not take into account racial statistics. But again it follows the same pattern True Christian women would be protected from this factor as well as no negro would be unsupervised in a True Christian community.

I cannot respond to hypothetical scenarios: that is where God comes in. We pray for protection for our daughters. But using secular sources and secular methodologies, we can prove that by taking away the going-to-college factor alone, we can dramatically reduce the chance she gets raped. The rest comes down to a strong Christian community and prayer.

Man, this is wrong on so many levels. You do make a few points, of course; f.x., rape victims (emphasize on 'victims') are often in some way intoxicated, which is not a crime. It may be a vice, yes, but it is not illegal or immoral. However, although a small percent of the human population have sexual fantasies about being 'raped' (spontaneous semi-violent intercourse with unknown men or women), no rape victim ever asked to be raped. Next to death or losing your loved ones, being raped is probably the worst thing that could ever happen to you. It is a violation of your own body, for Pete's sake! Your ability to blame the rape victims for this crime (yes, it is a crime, both by law, by the Bible and morally!) is quite frankly repulsive.

As I am replying the very first post of this thread, that ought to be obvious, yes? And although no exact scripture is literally condemning the act of raping, it is always described as the worst of acts, either being punishment for dubious and disgusting behaviour, or the result of extreme desire.

It is not illegal, but it is obvious that being intoxicated will significantly increase your odds of something bad happening to you (or to others). I can point to many thousands of people that die due to drunk driving every year to underscore the fact. Also keep in mind that one vector of attack is putting GHB in a woman's drink. So, if a woman doesn't drink, she has already ruled out two major factors that contribute to the chance of being raped.

Your mistake is that you are operating on the theory that people do not want to get hurt. This contradicts human psychology. Do a search for "bug chasers" for example. There are people who will intentionally have unprotected sex so that they can be infected. It's crazy, but it's also true.

The lower bound is 9%. This is backed up by 20 studies done over 30 years. Understandably, it is a bit of a taboo subject. But, again, just because it sounds crazy does not mean it isn't true.

Well, that is not really correct:

1. Doing your best to prevent a crime from happening does not equal condoning that crime
2. The Bible does not condone rape. Deuteronomy clearly mentions the death penalty for rape in various circumstances -- sometimes only for the rapist and not for the woman
3. The Bible tells us to follow secular law (i.e. unlike Catholics who protect pedophiles, we would report rapists)
4. The study is about minimizing the chance to be raped. Based on secular statistics, I have identified some of the most common factors.
5. We want our True Christian daughters to be as safe as possible -- if you want your atheist/non-Christian daughters to be safe too, you would be wise to follow this study
6. Did you know that according to secular statistics, there is a 20-25% chance that your daughter will be raped or sexually assaulted if she goes to college?
7. According to secular studies, 1 in 12 men at college qualify for the legal definition of rapist
8. What is or isn't moral is defined by God through the Bible

Having witnessed spring break in Florida I find it hard to believe that you could make a statement no rape victim ever asked to be raped ! These young girls are far from the protection of their fathers,running around drunk, half naked( most of the time lifting up there skimpy bikini tops and exposing bare breasts) with zero regard for the men that around them, yet you feel that they are not responsible in any way.

Not at all my enemy, I just don't agree. And, as mentioned above, you make a few valid points regarding measures towards not being raped. But why should there be a need to go to such measures in the first place? After all, self-constraint is a virtue and lust is a sin.

However: GHB goes pretty well with a glass of Coca-Cola as well. A woman entirely covered in winter clothes walking alone downtown at 7 P.M. is just as exposed to the (slightly overrated) danger of being raped as a lightly-clad woman dancing in a club.

My point being is that although some of your 'reasons' leading to a woman being raped is a little too black and white for me. When it comes to the act of raping, it takes a sick and demented person to make a rapist. And that, in my opinion, makes _every_ woman a potential rape victim.
