An unfortunate incident that could have happened to any of us. I am absolutely confident that there is a completely innocent explanation for all of this.
In the meantime, I'd like to remind everyone of the wise words of Ecclesiastes 3:

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to vote against "gay rights" measures, and a time to be arrested for drunk driving after leaving a gay nightclub with an unidentified man in the passenger seat of your car.

My heart bleeds for this poor father of 4.

I read the comments at that site, and one in particular stuck out for me.

It is possible the senator unwittingly wandered into the gay bar simply because he wanted a glass of water. Horrified by what he saw on the premises, he needed to fortify himself with about 10 shots of whiskey. The "unidentified male" in the car with him was probably a bouncer the victim begged to see him home, in case any of the bars burly patrons, on the scent of fresh meat, decided to follow him home.

In short, remember that we don't have all the facts yet.

That takes the cake! Leave it up to a Democrat to drag a good Christian family man down! The poor man accidentally walks into a bar full of homers and has a few to many cocktails to help remove the image from his memory and you claim him to be GUILTY. He will have his day in court and will be found not guilty.

Well I am a fair, nice person so I will choose to believe you. Though any one who'd believe a candidate would give an interview like that is crazy.

(Also, that newspaper, whatever it is, doesn't look too reputable. They could use a good copy editor who might do some proof reading for them, some time.)
