    The results are in....

We got the results for my oldest sons Grade 3 exams and he placed in the 90th Percentile

I wish they sent me his grades, but they don't do it that way anymore. They only send you where he is in relation to the other students. I know pride comes before a fall, but I can't help being proud of my little boy

So much for the argument that all home schooled kids are retarded.

Congratulations, Sister BIG! It would seem your son has the makings of a Pastor or a Creation Scientist.

Which scholastic subject does he do best in? Has the LORD revealed unto you which online Christian college He would like your son to attend?

He did his best in what they call Language Arts, which is a compilation of writing abilities, reading abilities, and spelling. 95th percentile (highest possible). I guess that copying out Bible chapters has paid off! Fortunately the secular sciences don't really start for another 6 years or so. I'm not sure how I'll be handling those. Maybe just with "it's not true, but this is what you have to know to pass". Right now "science" involves hatching eggs, freezing and melting ice, things like that. Oh, and we caught a tadpole and watched it "evolve" into a frog.

I had not thought of an online Bible college. Trinity Western University is fairly close to us, my husband will have to check it out more and who knows how much a University will change over the next 9 years.

I'm just tired of people equating home schooled to stupid. Well I guess my boy proved them wrong!
