Satan stepped it up a notch. Since most scientists discovered you can not win a debate from a Bible backed True Christian™ they now invented a different approach. They now invented research "proving" that True Christians™ are stupid and that you can ignore everything True Christians™ say. Thereby allowing them to live in ignorance by completely ignoring the Truth© as told them by True Christians™ .

I am sure there will be an extra hot spot in Hell for these tax money gobbling "researchers" from Towson University.

That has left psychologists pondering the methods that these people use to rationalize the conflict.

A study published in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology takes a look at one of these methods, which the authors term "scientific impotence"—the decision that science can't actually address the issue at hand properly. It finds evidence that not only supports the scientific impotence model, but suggests that it could be contagious. Once a subject has decided that a given topic is off limits to science, they tend to start applying the same logic to other issues.

This sounds like they're one step away from declaring Christianity a mental disorder so that they can lock us up, force electric shock therapy on us and lobotomize us until we can no longer read a Bible, let alone follow it.

What a complete lie. I am proudly anti-science. I know all of life's answers come from the Bible.

Who are these fluffy bunny false Christians? I want names. I'm going to be making some calls to their Pastors and ask them what in the heck they are preaching.

If it's the Towson University that I think it is-- I'm right on it. Bible brandishing protests will be organized as soon as I can activate the phone tree.

I might still have an "in" with campus security--maybe LBC can suggest a few specific tactics. Can we replace all the researchers' notes with Bible passages? I'd rather avoid bloodshed because it's still illegal thanks to our latest democrat governor. (Also, I once had to be revived when my mother got a blood test. I'm really praying that the Lord will strengthen me with some fortitude over this issue. It limits my ability to serve Him with a whole heart.)

It's the scientists who do that. When God's Word contradicts their theories, they say that the Bible simply doesn't apply.

Again, aren't Christians meant to be avoiding bloodshed anyway? I mean, I'm pretty sure that one of the 10 commandments was "Thou shall not murder" or something similar.
So fainting at the sight of blood shouldn't really limit your ability to serve Him. However, the best way to conquer irrational fears is to face them head on- why not volunteer in a hospital or something?

I do not fear blood. I become light-headed at the sight of blood. There is a difference.

I am not some Jehovah's Witness who claims there is magic power in blood, nor am I compelled to sign up for a "Tour the Porches of America" vacation.
