Hi

I am 49 YO and from Australia and I am seeking to meet likeminded people that may help me find salvation and clarity

Up until recently I was in a live in relationship with a prostitute, a relationship that was some 3 years in length.

Although I have been somewhat happy I have been confronted with nothing but turmoil in this relationship and have faced challenges such as continual infections of syphillis, drunken orgies etc. all from a partner that continued to ply her trade even after hours and coming home often to find that my house was full of naked women, some engaging in Lesbian activities.

Although we had a very wealthy lifestyle, large house, a Ferrari in the garage I was / am miserable. My partner says that she loves me and was insisting that we get married but alas I could not go through with it.

So I moved out and I am not sure if I have done the right thing

I am contemplating maybe giving the relationship a second try as I still have strong feelings for her but I thought that would try and get a different perspective on life and love

I hope to become a positive contributor to this forum

Wait a minute . . . your woman is a prostitute, thus by definition a whore . . . but you don't want people to call her a whore?

Well I don't agree with you calling Destiny (my ex partner) a whore as as she is a nice person once you get to know her.

However as I am a guest in your forum I will give consideration to your opinion and afford you all some respect

For the record I was trying to convince her to take another career path and I was none too happy when she expressed interest in working in adult movies instead of her current profession.
Her theory was that this would give us much more family time together as she would only be working a few of days every month.
Whilst this was an appealing and a generous offer on Destiny's part I was still not 100% comfortable with the idea.

As a result I am confused, lonely and unsure at my lifes direction at the moment hence my joining you community.....Obviously I have a road to travel
